Carter G. Cares Inc. N E W S L E T T E R W I N T E R 2 0 2 3 Carter’s Corner Hi friends! Guess who is turning 4 on January 29th 2023?! I am excited about my birthday and my mommy and daddy have already let me celebrate it with a party at We Rock the Spectrum kids gym. I had so much fun with my family and friends. I am also doing really well in PreK3 class where I am working on matching, identifying characters in storybooks, coloring and learning how to follow routines & directions. I love my class and my teacher I have surgery next month to work on getting my voice soon Please keep me in prayer -Carter G.
A lot has happened this winter, we ended 2022 by moving up the rank of top-rated nonprofits on the GreatNonprofits. In November we had a cozy Fall Family Reunion where we spent time with our monthly donors to thank them for all of the support we receive. Our
Thanksgiving breakfast for NICU families at Medstar Franklin Square Hospital to celebrate the holidays was a success. Specials thanks to everyone who supported us for GivingTuesday which allowed us to raise $1200 with a match of $1000 totaling $2200! THANK YOU ALL! To end 2022 we were blessed with a $1000 grant from The Little Giraffe Foundation. The grant was used to make 24 Christmas baskets for the NICU! Each basket included personal items and an autographed copy of Welcome to the NICU by Rook's Books Publishing LLC. Thank you again to "The Little Giraffe Foundation!!! Carter G.
