We're very excited

to reach this milestone We've at a critical point and are very close to reaching a significant milestone. The Buriticá mine will soon begin full-scale operations.

We help strengthen projects in Western Antioquia

Now is the time when we all need to be at our peak performance. Our corporate values must shine: respect, integrity/ethics, transparency, safety, and social commitment.

T

he strategic partnership between the Comunica Project and Zijin-Continental Gold officially began in August. It helps ten (10) tourism and agricultural sector organizations in the municipalities of Santa Fe de Antioquia, Cañasgordas, Buriticá, and Giraldo. The goal is to strengthen and promote each organization and to identify risk factors and potentials.

I am happy to report that our mineral processing plant has been in production for several days now. We have surpassed the commissioning stage. The plant will initially process 3,500 tons of material per day and scale up to 5,000 tons per day in 2021. Our annual gold production will be 380,000 ounces of gold per year, once the plant starts processing 5,000 tons of material per day in 2021.

Each organization was analyzed, and key issues were identified, including what critical areas to focus on. This strengthening phase will continue until December. The program seeks to promote local economic development, improve communities' socioeconomic conditions, and strengthen the Colombian economy.

It is important to thank all of you who made this dream possible, everyone who contributed to building the most modern large-scale underground mine in Colombia.

This year has been full of change, challenges, adaptation, and the reaching of goals. We cannot, however, let our guards down. Colombia is opening up again, which can lead to a possible second outbreak of the pandemic. We continue with strict protocols and ask you and your families to continue protecting yourselves.

There you'll find veggies such as spinach, lettuce, kale, tomato, scallion, squash, cilantro, hot peppers, tobacco, and herbal tea leaves.

Zijin-Continental Gold

Zijin-Continental Gold understands the value of gratitude The current Covid-19 situation has brought us many lessons, teaching us the real value of family, health, food, work, etc. Zijin-Continental Gold knows that thankfulness is a two-way streak. Employees have shown gratitude toward the Company and vice versa.

Today, we wish to pause and reveal the best we have inside and demonstrate how gratitude feels.

Learning another language Eighteen (18) employees began studying basic Mandarin Chinese on April 14. The classes are held twice a week via Zoom with two separate groups of students. The course teaches Chinese pronunciation, the four tones, a writing system, greetings, personal names, and common expressions. Our geologist colleague, Laura Aristizábal, says her experience with the classes is very positive. I really like it. It is a way to challenge yourself by learning a completely different language, which brings us closer to the Chinese culture. Our teacher is great! The class is very dynamic."
