PARKS LIBRARY

Our design concept for the college library is centered around an openconcept layout, meticulously crafted to cater to the dynamic needs of modern-day students. By seamlessly integrating various learning spaces within the library's expanse, we aim to cultivate an environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and focused study. The strategic placement of these learning zones, coupled with open sightlines, not only promotes accessibility but also encourages serendipitous interactions and knowledge exchange among students. Our design ethos prioritizes versatility and adaptability, ensuring that the library serves as a multifaceted hub for learning, research, and communal engagement, thereby enriching the academic experience for all.

PERSONAL WORKS

Throughout my time in Rome, Italy I can remember when I truly felt lost. I learned that all the buildings are unique in their own way. The corners of each building stood out to me as they all were so different. I learned that if I could remember enough corners I could start to remember my way through the city. When choosing a final drawing project I decided that I would examine the corners and details of buildings for my final drawing set. Through The Corners of Italy is the project.

"Through the corners of buildings I would soon discover, I always found my way back." -Carson Underwood
