Precedent Analysis:

Boat storage design was inspired by the Kayak Pavilion; My goal was to create a system that made the transfer of boats and paddle boards to and from the water seamless and easy for people of all ages and abilities. The staging area is very spacious and allows for multiple guests to prepare their watercraft at the same time in the center of the room.

Norman Equine Asst. Therapy Center

Angle of roof and exposed structure allows wind to pass freely through the interior, creating a constant flow of fresh air.

The structure of the building holds up the roof and provides an anchor for the louvers.

Multiple wood louvers create separation and spaces throughout the site. They create shade for interior spaces, while allowing air to circulate throughout the building.

Openings allow for human circulation
