Labor Day weekend, 2020 is like no other we have experienced. After going back and forth, we realized there was just no way we could ask our clients to let over 500 people walk through their homes. Yet, we hear the excitement in your voices around town, anxious to see the inside of the homes you have watched us build up the street from you. So, we decided to have a mini, virtual Home Showcase. This year, we will only feature 3 homes but this means next year’s showcase will be bigger and better than ever! It was an exciting year in building, we were privileged to start what we hope is the new home trend in Angel Fire West and Valley of the Utes subdivisions. While they both offer newer roads and infrastructure, Angel Fire West Village is a short drive to the golf course, ski mountain and grocery store and has easy access to the hiking/biking trail system. Valley of the Utes is known for it’s wildlife and amazing views! While we try to vary the styles and price points of the homes we build, our take on modern mountain has really resonated with people in Angel Fire. Our goal this year is to build more spec homes to try to accommodate the demand, while continuing to build the custom homes we are known for. Demand is high, and we are growing our teams of construction and real estate to better help serve you. The decision to buy or build is a tough one but our team will gladly walk you through your options. We live in the mountains… ...or do we?

E

veryone comes to Angel Fire to “live in the mountains,” and our mountains are beautiful. But what enhances their beauty is the Moreno Valley. It’s because of our valley that we gasp when we see views all the way to Eagle Nest Lake and beyond to Colorado. It’s because of our valley that the elk have room to roam and hot air balloons can brighten the already crisp blue skies. And it’s the hopeful glimpses of that valley peeking through the pines as you wind down the Palo Flechado pass that lets you know you’ve finally arrived. And it’s the people who populate this valley that make living in or visiting Angel Fire even more spectacular. The 1200 or so fulltimers have the everyday luxury of taking moments in the day to

truly appreciate where they live. A simple drive into the village can provide breathtaking views and interesting encounters with wildlife. It seems that daily pleasure comes out of the locals in the form of kindness, friendliness and the willingness to help others along the way every day. But it’s the visitors who bring the real life-blood to the Moreno Valley. Sure, tourists provide an economic boost, but they also bring a fabulous diversity and energy to Angel Fire whether it’s for a weekend of skiing or enjoying an entire summer out of the heat and humidity. Those that venture off the main highway discover there are thousands of homes tucked away in the Agua Fria, Osha and surrounding mountains. They tell their friends this is a perfect place to hunt, fish, hike and ski.

Because of our valley we have room to move and spread our wings, which makes it interesting as visitors discover the vastness of our small village. Yes, we have a variety of delicious restaurants offering Peruvian food, pizza and plenty of green chili, a must! Yes, we have services to meet almost your every need and a grocery store that seems to provide even the most unusual, unexpected and delightful items. And yes, we have the valley that will make everyone at some point in the day pull up a chair, a ski lift, a horse or a piece of ground to marvel at the sunrises and sunsets that top our mountains and fill our lands with color.
