Roberto VISENTINI, bresciano di Gardone Riviera, classe ’57, campione del mondo fra gli juniores, è stato negli anni 80 un grandissimo protagonista delle sfide in rosa al Giro d’Italia nell’epoca gloriosa di Moser e Saronni. In possesso di classe purissima, sapeva andar forte in montagna e contro il tempo. Straordinaria la sua vittoria nella nostra massima corsa a tappe nell’86, quando nella classifica finale mise in fila nell’ordine proprio Saronni,Moser e Greg LeMond.
Roberto VISENTINI, from Gardone Riviera (Brescia), was born in 1957. He won the World championship in the junior class, and in the Eighties he was a very good protagonist of the Giro d ’Italia in the glorious years of Moser and Saronni. With his great class, he knew he was very strong on the mountains and in time-trials. His success at the Giro d ’Italia in 1986 was great: he placed first in the final classification over Saronni, Moser and Greg LeMond.
