We design gap semester, summer and year-long programs for students between the ages of 17 and 22.
Each program focuses on experiential education, intercultural exchange and community engagement.
Students pursue meaningful journeys across the South Pacific, South America, Central America, India & Nepal, Italy & Greece, Southeast Asia, and Hawai'i.

Latitudes Year
A two-semester program that combines one of our fall group semesters with a customized Focused Volunteer Placement in the spring.
First Semester
You join a Carpe Diem semester in the destination of your choice!
Second Semester
Go deeper! Work with an organization and international community that reflects your goals and interests.
Receive guidance and mentorship from your Latitudes Year Coordinator, who will arrange your dedicated placement.
Gain a deeper understanding of service learning, community engagement, and cultural immersion.
Develop meaningful relationships with your host community, enrich your worldview, and expand cultural awareness.
Gain a greater sense of independence and strengthen you travel skills.
The Latitudes Year tuition includes up to 36 college credits
