Students from Sharon Elementary School said goodbye to their bus driver, Deborah Peay, who retired after 30 years of service. Peay also drove students from Randolph and Alexander Graham middle schools and Myers Park High School. "She's driven some children from kindergarten through high school," said CMS parent Alicia Thrasher. "She's a wonderful bus driver, always prompt and always in a good mood helping to get kids' days started off on a good note." Make sure to pick up a copy of next week's paper, which will feature an expanded education section covering all things back to school.
