My atelier is based in Chennai, South India, home to an ancestral community of highly skilled hand embroiderers who specialise in Aari embroidery. The region has always been known for being skilled in the working of embroidery and embellishment as it is an integral part of India's ancient history and present. We started Haute Couture and Interior Design hand embroidery in 2012, following in our mother's footsteps, who started in 1983 and established Zandra Rhodes Haute Couture, Matthew Williamson and others. Since then we embroider for Fashion and Interior Designers in Italy, France, UK and USA. Our aim is to preserve this ancient craft by providing opportunities, sustaining, educating and enabling the embroiderers to showcase their craft and in turn live a fulfilling life where they can inspire the next generation to carry on this tradition. Embroidery has always been synonymous with fashion and with this collection we aim to extend this wonderful craft into art.

Jigna Parekh is a budding artist originally from Mumbai. In her words...... I started my art classes for all mediums under 'Fun art Learn art' banner. Started out with master's degree in Commerce, Passion and Creatively drove me to explore the world of Arts. Having completed diploma in Fine Arts, as well being Certified one stroke instructor (US); I also have a diploma in Calligraphy from London. Over the years travelling around world with my family from Middle East to Far East and America and settling down in different countries, you will find a nuance of different cultural beauties reflected in my paintings. Like Buddha's Painting which shows my interpretation of faith that I observed in Malaysia. With Balinese dancer, I have tried to capture the cultural beauty of Indonesia while with boats in watercolor, I have tried to captured the essence of fisherman's life in Chennai. For me ' Life is Art' and with that thought I am still exploring the beauty of nature.

I live in the greater Tokyo area, the most populous metro area in the world. It is strange to think that Tokyo began from a small fishing village, just as it is strange to think that in my lifetime my area has transformed from rice fields to country homes, to dream homes and now to bed town high-rise. Recently I have been drawing local houses with knives on wood. The architecture withstands the constant earthquakes, typhoons and humidity. Improvements in technology and affordability manifest as constant rebuilding. Enjoy these dream homes as soon they will be just memories.
