story of quality that respects tradition, at the heart of Valpolicella Classica, in Fumane. All this is Scriani, the agricultural enterprise of Stefano Cottini, established in 1998 on one hectare of land with a production of 20 thousand bottles, which, over the course of twenty years, has affirmed its importance in the oenological landscape of Valpolicella, now with 30 hectares of land and a production of 110 thousand bottles. And it is determined to keep on growing. Indeed, the company has expanded in the lower Garda area, in the municipality of Sona, where it produces the white wines Custoza and Lugana, but also Pinot Grigio. Scriani is always attentive to the demands of the market not only in Italy, but also abroad, and although it is a young company, those who work for Scriani have extensive experience in structured and refined reds, first and foremost Amarone, which in the last few years has seen incredible growth. “The wine that most identifies us, for which we are so well known in Verona, is Carpanè, our pure Corvina”, says the owner, Stefano Cottini, “The characteristic of this wine is its territoriality. Drinking it is like taking a sip of the landscape of Valpolicella itself”.
