J u s t t h e t h o u g h t of a person, s h o o t i n g a n o t h e r human b e i n g , i n honour of a c o u n t r y . Sends s h i v e r s down my s p i n e . Family and f r i e n d s f e a r f o r t h e l i f e of t h e i r l o v e d one. T r y i n g t o keep i n mind, t h e way they were b e f o r e they l e f t . Wondering what t h e y ' l l b e l i k e when they come back, from t h e mine f i e l d s , sounds of g u n f i r e , g r e n a d e s exploding i n c h e s away from them. P e o p l e screaming w i t h t h e i r l a s t b r e a t h , " T e l l my w i f e , husband, c h i l d , mother, f a t h e r , s i s t e r , b r o t h e r I l o v e them." S i l e n c e i s a golden word. But n o t when war i s i n v o l v e d . T h e r e ' s a n o t h e r kind of war, but n o t w i t h guns, g r e n a d e s , o r mine f i e l d s . T h i s w a r i s c a l l e d Poverty. Many people come back from war o n l y t o f i n d themselves i n a n o t h e r kind of war. Trying to find t h e i r place i n society. P e o p l e r e j e c t them because they k i l l e d f o r t h e i r country So i n s t e a d of t r y i n g t o g e t t h e h e l p they need t h e y c r e a t e a world i n which they only know, where no one can h u r t them. Except f o r themselves. Because t h a t world i s evolved around a l c o h o l and d r u g s , t h e i r way of drowning t h e memories of what happened.
