If you are unable to be at the sale to bid on a steer, contact any of the Whitewood 4-H Beef Club Families listed below or our Club Contact, Cam Osiowy 306-697-7098 to arrange bidding for you. Steers are sold by the pound - early June weights are listed in the catalog to assist you with your purchases. Weights could increase 50-100 lbs by sale date.

Want to turn that steer into steak? Our club will assist in processing arrangements if you require assistance. We have

reserved a number of hooks at different local processing facilities if you require. All processing costs, unless previous arrangments have been made, are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Hello! My name is Arianna Osiowy. This is my 5th and final year in 4-H as I will be heading to Saskpolytech in Saskatoon this fall, to receive my Veterinary Technician Diploma. Throughout the years, 4-H has taught me an endless amount of life lessons. From being shown that hard work and determination will always pay off, to developing and working on leadership skills as being apart of a club. If I could tell the younger members anything, it would be to not be afraid to ask for help or take advice from the older members or parents. The tips, tricks and lessons that they take the time to teach you can be helpful to you for much more than just your 4-H days. 4-H wouldn’t be able to thrive like it does without the generous support from people like you all. Hey everyone! My name is Ricayla Gawryluk. I am 17 years old, I live near Whitewood and this is my 10th year in 4-H. I have had a lot of fun in 4-H over the past 10 years, meeting new friends, and learning new things all the time! But I have decided that this will be my final year in 4-H as I would like to put most of my focus on grade 12 next year. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging with friends, singing, and doing anything that involves animals! This year I am taking a Simmental X Angus steer named Bennett. He has been an amazing last steer, and looks delicious! About a year and a half ago, I was really sick and after multiple tests, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Having experienced all the things I did, just in 5 days of being at the hospital, was life changing! So this year, I will be donating 25% of the money from my steer, to the “Jimmy Pattison Children’s hospital” in Saskatoon. Thank you everyone in advance for your support and for all the bids! 4-H has been a major event in my life that will not be forgotten! I have truly enjoyed every minute of it and I know that if you buy my steer, he will taste amazing on your BBQ!

When I am not working with my 4-H steer or helping out on the farm, I like to play guitar and sing. 4-H is a great place to learn new things and meet new friends. My steer, Dutton, is a home raised steer that I watched grow all year. Besides having the cutest nose and face, he is also very friendly.

Hi my name is Ryder Beutler and I have been in 4-H for 7 years! This year I have a heifer named Fancy and a steer named Jet. Jet is home raised and purebred Simmental. I have had a busy 4-H year taking my steer and heifer to spring shows in Yorkton, Weyburn and Kennedy. At Yorkton both my steer and heifer made it to the championship classes both days and in Weyburn I was 2nd in the best pair from one member class. When I’m not busy with 4-H I enjoy curling, refing, badminton and ball. I am going to miss Jet but I know his buyer will enjoy him this summer!

Simmental My name is Nash and this is my first year in 4-H. I am showing a heifer calf named Oreo. Oreo’s mom decided she didn’t like her when she was first born so we bottle fed her for a couple weeks until we found her a new mom! I love helping mom and dad with the cows whenever I can. I also really like hockey, ball and soccer and I am excited to do some camping this summer!
