If you are unable to be at the sale to bid on a steer, contact the member directly or club contact Trevor Gawryluk, to arrange bidding for you - 306-434-9766.

Want to turn that steer into steak?

Our club will assist in processing arrangements if you require assistance. We have reserved a number of hooks at different local processing facilities if you require. All processing costs, unless prior arrangements have been made, are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Want to re-sell your steer? Whitewood Livestock Sales will be holding a sale on Tuesday, July 11 (and steers can be left at the auction mart until the sale) or we have made arrangements with Prairie Livestock for buyers wishing to resell their steer. Contact Trevor for details.

The weight provided is current at the time of printing - Steer weights could increase by 50-100 lbs by sale date.

While every effort will be made to protect your investment, accidents can happen. Once the hammer drops, your purchase becomes your responsibility. The Whitewood 4-H Beef Club is not liable for any accidents or death that might occur.

I am also the President of the Whitewood 4-H Beef Club. I live in town so I am keeping my animals at the McCaw Ranch. My hobbies include dance, badminton and volleyball. My hobbies include baseball, biking and raising chickens. 4-H has taught me how to feed and look after cattle. I bought my first heifer this year with last year’s 4-H monies. I call her Cheerio because she is always happy to see me. Through her, I plan to start my own herd at my Grandpa’s farm.

My name is Ricayla Gawryluk. I am 12 years old, in 4-H for six years and from Whitewood, SK. I LOVE working on the farm! I enjoy playing with my little sister Azlynn, helping calves eat, riding with my brother in the semi and training my 4-H steer.

I love my steer because I LOVE all animals. When I grow up I’m going to be a vet. I love 4-H because you meet new people, make friends and work with animals. My favorite part of 4-H is the mini-show because you get to practise and it is just for fun. Well that’s what 4-H is all about - having fun and that’s what I do each year!

Hi my name is John Hogberg. I’m 15 years of age and I live in Langenburg, SK. This year I am showing a heifer - Bar-H Cora 97D. Our family runs 230 purebred Black Angus cows as Bar-H Land & Cattle. For my post-secondary education I hope to go to school for Animal Science and Livestock Judging at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, KS for 2 years and then hopefully get accepted into Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.
