THE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Rene Wilcott, on Tuesday October 1, 2019, with family by his side at the Health Center in Lampman, SK, at the age of 86. Dad was born on the family farm north west of Alida, SK, the youngest child of Aquilas and Generia (Boutin) Wilcott. He is predeceased by his wife Rita and siblings Cecille (Forsythe), Harvey, Rose (Germain), Lucienne (Hansen), Virginia, and Yvonne (Smith). He is survived by his sons Philip, Paul (Amanda) and siblings Regina (Cruywels) and Adolf. Rene was married to Rita (Prescott) on December 28, 1968 at John Fisher Parish in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Dad was a loving husband who raised his family and worked on the family farm alongside his brother Adolf. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at the Lampman Health Center for their support and compassionate care during his stay at the Nursing Home.

THANK YOU: “Wasn’t that a party!” Thank you very much Carlyle! We especially thank everyone who took the time to organize such a nice ‘moving’ tribute. We are not even aware of all that were involved, so no names - you know who you are and you did a fantastic job! We felt immediately accepted into the community when we moved here in 2005 and although we are moving to another location, we feel we are taking some of what it means to be fromCarlyle with us. This has been a ‘good’ home. We have made many good friends! Let’s keep in touch. Kent & Myra Holland 22-1
