DAMANSARA FORESTA BANDAR SRI DAMANSARA

With the exclusive green surroundings, this study aims to create outdoor facilities which respect the existing green areas and ecosystems, while setting a new benchmark in property development which is built as part of nature, not apart from nature.

Strategically located next to Bukit Lanjan Forest Reserve, Bandar Sri Damansara, Damansara Foresta is 42 acres of lush natural greenery with views of the spectacular city skyline. Foresta offers dwellers a chance to live with nature and to be part of it, rather than apart from it. Components such as existing flora and fauna are among the main study subjects. Topography and hydrological studies are among the important site conditions required to ensure the development will not jeopardize the high quality landforms and aqua systems of the site. FORESTA, is a conjunction of FOREST+A; the ‘A, is derived from the five main components which are: Actions, Arts, Activities, Ambiances and Appreciations. For the total of 42 acres of land available, 50% is dedicated for buildings and the remaining 50% for nature or nature related activities. The existing 3,000 trees on the site are to be preserved and included as part of FORESTA ‘s extra added value. Local aborigines will be encouraged to remain here and play a vital role in the maintenance of the property and the surrounding fruit orchard. In addition, 1,800 metres of jungle trails to further engage users with nature alongside 24 outdoor facilities are also planned.
