Bandar Bukit Raja Town Park Klang, Selangor

The study for Bandar Bukit Raja Town Park is basically to look forward into mitigating flood which has become the main issue for Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. Sustainable approaches are being implemented in reviving the ecosystem at development area, which involved human and nature. Thorough study has been analysed and few strategic plans in environmental, social and economic aspects and values are ready to be implemented on site. The nexus between human and nature is vital. One of the key strategic approaches towards eco-design is by bio integration – integrating synthetic with natural essentially assimilating everything that human design and implement with the natural environment seamlessly. The implementation of Blue Infrastructure approach is another strategic plan to minimise environmental impact and energy used in the park as it can return clean water back into the ecosystem. This implementation act as watershed catchment to avoid flooding, restore natural habitat, generate energy that enables the park to become self-sufficient over time, and enabling land aquifer to be recharged. Another strategic plan is to create a park that dynamically reacts to the life of human beings and stimulation of nature besides implementing a vital ecology where nature, structure and human being exist in harmony.
