Terms and Conditions and Conditions of Entry This year artists will be invited to submit their work digitally. The online application form will be live from 18 March and artists will be able to upload their submission in a variety of formats. The online submission deadline is Thursday 30th April. For artists who feel strongly that their work must be seen in the original, there is a hand-‐in period on 8th and 9th May in VISUAL. Please respect that this meant for exceptional circumstances only. A long-‐list of selected works (NOT the final selection) must be available for collection/delivery to Dublin or Carlow on 8th and 9th June – artists will be contacted to arrange same. Up to 3 pieces can be submitted per artist but a maximum of 2 works may be selected for exhibition. All work submitted must have been completed between 2012 and 2015. Submitted work must be for sale. Film-‐based work can be submitted online, or in QuickTime compatible format by post to Carlow Arts Festival, 9 Dublin Street, Carlow. Work is accepted for exhibition on merit. However, as wall space is limited, overly large-‐ scale work may not be selected. Copyright of all work is the property of the artist. However, Carlow Arts Festival (Éigse) reserves the right to photograph work for publicity purposes. Please note this is a competition for exhibition with the chance of winning the overall prize of €5000 and therefore no artist fees are granted.
