Carlos Martínez diseño y arquitectura ofrece un servicio personalizado, desde el inicio conceptual, hasta la ejecución final del proyecto; los elementos de diseño y el diseño gráfico corporativo. Desde nuestro estudio en Barcelona, Carlos Martínez diseño y arquitectura ha creado más de 300 interiores destacados y únicos y tiene una amplia experiencia en el desarrollo de proyectos de restauración para infinidad de restaurantes de España, y nivel internacional, así como viviendas y pequeñas tiendas de delicatessen.

Carlos Martínez Diseño y Arquitectura offers a personalized service, from the conceptual start to the final execution of the project; Design elements and corporate graphic design. PROYECTO FOXOS

Cuando uno entra en Foxos de Lluria, en Barcelona, no está teletransportandose a la típica taberna gallega. Cierto que cada parte del local representa un aspecto de esta región: la vertiente más hogareña, la industrial, el campo… pero todo bajo una estética actual y muy brillante. Brillante, de brillo y también de acierto.

Le hemos dado un aire moderno a un concepto tradicional. De hecho se mimetiza tan bien que la inspiración podría llegar a pasar desapercibido, e incluso irreconocible, para aquellos que no conocen esta zona del país si no fuera por su carta de platos gallegos. Sutil, elegante y con personalidad serían buenos adjetivos para definirlo.

El espacio se divide en tres zonas: la barra, la zona lounge y el restaurante en sí. Los dos primeros están en la planta baja junto con un patio de luces que funciona como jardín del restaurante. La identidad de Foxos se divisa desde la calle ya que su espectacular fachada acristalada ofrece vistas totales del interior. Sólo una estantería vertical junto al acceso proporciona cierto grado de intimidad porque consiste simplemente en varias barras metálicas que soportan botellas de vino. Delante de la barra está el lounge un espacio más desenfadado que en el comedor de arriba formado por un conjunto de sofás y mesas de tape,. Aquí la idea era proporcionar el confort, la intimidad y la sencillez de una casa humilde. Para ello se ha buscado una estética “rozando el estilo vintage” con bombillas de filamento colgadas y una tapicería muy cálida.

El pequeño jardín es, por supuesto, una oda al campo gallego: elementos de trabajo de la tierra, ruedas, hachas, etc.

El comedor, por su parte, es la parte que aporta el aspecto más industrial. En concreto se inspira en los típicos almacenes gallegos. Esto es: paredes vestidas con estanterías de hierro “con acabados bastos” y divididas en columnas iluminadas encerradas por una rejilla “o deployé que hace más obvio el concepto industrial”.

Las estanterías no son un mero elemento decorativo para crear el concepto industrial sino que sirven como vitrinas con género del que el camarero puede hacer uso para servir al comensal.

PROJECT FOXOS

When you enter Foxos de Lluria, in Barcelona, ​​you are not teleporting to the typical Galician tavern. It is true that each part of the premises represents an aspect of this region: the most homely aspect, the industrial one, the countryside ... but all under a current and very bright aesthetic. Brilliant, brilliant and also successful.

We have given a modern look to a traditional concept. In fact, it blends in so well that inspiration could go unnoticed, and even unrecognizable, for those who do not know this area of ​​the country if it were not for its menu of Galician dishes. Subtle, elegant and with personality would be good adjectives to define it. The space is divided into three areas: the bar, the lounge area and the restaurant itself. The first two are on the ground floor together with a patio of lights that works as the restaurant’s garden. Foxos identity can be seen from the street as its spectacular glazed façade offers full views of the interior. Only a vertical shelf next to the access provides a certain degree of privacy because it simply consists of several metal bars that hold wine bottles. In front of the bar is the lounge, a more casual space than in the upstairs dining room formed by a set of sofas and tape tables. Here the idea was to provide the comfort, privacy and simplicity of a humble home. For this, an aesthetic “bordering on vintage style” has been sought with hanging filament bulbs and very warm upholstery.

The small garden is, of course, an ode to the Galician countryside: earthwork elements, wheels, axes, etc.

The dining room, meanwhile, is the part that provides the most industrial aspect. Specifically, it is inspired by the typical Galician warehouses. That is: walls dressed with iron shelves “with rough finishes” and divided into illuminated columns enclosed by a grid “or deployed that makes the industrial concept more obvious.”

The shelves are not a mere decorative element to create the industrial concept, but they serve as showcases with a genre that the waiter can use to serve the diner.

PROYECTO ALBA GRANADOS + BALA

El proyecto Alba Granados surge a consecuencia de un fatídico incendio que obligó a los propietarios a realizar una reforma íntegra del ya conocido restaurante situado en la calle Enrique Granados de la ciudad condal.

El local nos lo encontramos totalmente vacío, con la estructura y las paredes totalmente desnudas y aún calcinadas.

Es entonces cuando la propia arquitectura del local nos dio la idea de cómo podíamos intervenir en nuestro proyecto.

La composición del local en 2 alturas y espacios diferenciados por su geometría, establece un claro condicionante a la hora de distribuir y priorizar los usos propuestos.

El restaurante se divide en 3 zonas conectadas entre sí, pero diferenciadas por su atmósfera creada por el propio uso de cada una de ellas.

Al entrar al local, nos encontramos una barra de madera de pino y sobre de mármol blanco país con grandes estanterías de madera negra repleta de producto, acercándonos a una imagen de las clásicas y antiguas bodegas catalanas del pasado siglo; y combinando con un carácter industrial otorgado por el hierro y rejillas deployeé pintadas en blanco que componen el alero; además de una enorme cristalera inglesa que ofrece al usuario la sensación de amplitud de la que esta zona carece.

Al adentrarnos al recinto, nos encontramos con una pequeña cocina vista, justo bajo la escalera que conecta con la primera planta, que a su vez, la separa con una pequeña zona de charcutería.

Los pavimentos van cambiando según vamos avanzando por el local, y nos encontramos en su inicio un mármol que acaba donde empieza la pequeña cocina, la cual posee un pavimento hidráulico con ciertos toques vintage; una vez llegados a este punto, los pavimentos se transforman en madera de pino.

Es aquí cuando el visitante sin darse cuenta ha llegado al amplio comedor, con pilares de fundición, paredes de obra vista y diseñado con la intención de adentrarnos a otra atmósfera concebida como una antigua fábrica, como un loft neoyorkino, con cristaleras inglesas, alternando transparencias y opacidad y con la cocina acristalada como telón de fondo.

Unas grandes lámparas de araña, también diseñadas por nuestro estudio, visten los pilares de fundición para sumar majestuosidad en un ambiente claramente industrial.

Justo frente a la cocina observamos toda una pared repleta de estanterías de cristal vistiendo los ladrillos de ésta.

Los sofás circulares de esta sala, tapizados con piel de color burdeos, ofrecen dinamismo al espacio.

Si decidimos subir por la gran escalera que separa barra y comedor, nos encontramos con una gran estantería de producto, que nos acompaña en este trayecto donde de manera paulatina se puede divisar la barra de madera con cuarterones de la primera planta (entramos en BALA, posee otro nombre y otro estilo). Este espacio adquiere otro tratamiento, aunque también se puede comer, resulta un poco más clásico, casi haciendo un guiño a las antiguas cocktelerías barcelonesas; con armarios de madera repletos de licores enmarcando las cristaleras que dan acceso a una pequeña terraza; sofás capitonnes, pavimentos hidráulicos y de madera, son la paleta de materiales que nos encontramos en esta zona, junto a una inmensa biblioteca de madera de pino, pintada en su fachada de color negro, y manteniendo el color natural en los nichos que conforman sus estanterías.

En esta misma planta encontramos un pequeño privé, una habitación pequeña pero muy acogedora, las paredes de obra vista blancas están abrazadas por unas celosías de madera y retroiluminadas; junto con una mesa central para 16 personas iluminada por 8 lámparas colgantes a diferentes alturas; y un pequeño mueble de servicio para el camarero.

Todos las instalaciones del local son vistas y pintadas en negro, otorgando un carácter claramente industrial al conjunto del local.

PROJECT ALBA GRANADOS + BALA

The project Alba Granados arises as a consequence of a fatidic fire that forced the owners to realize a complete reform of the already well-known restaurant placed in the street Enrique Granados of the city of a count.

The place we are it completely emptily, with the structure and the completely naked and still bothered walls.

It is then when the proper architecture of the place gave us the idea of how we could intervene in our project.

The composition of the place in 2 heights and spaces differentiated by its geometry, establishes a clear determinant at the time of distributing and prioritizing the proposed uses.

The restaurant splits into 3 areas connected between themselves, but differentiated by its ambience created by the proper use of each of them.

On having entered the place, we can see a pine wooden bar and on of white marble with big shelves of black wood full of product, approaching an image of the classic and old Catalan wine vaults of last century; and combining with an industrial character granted by the iron and grills deployeĂŠ identical with target that they compose the eave; in addition to an enormous window that offers to the user the sensation of largeness which this area lacks.

On having penetrated to the enclosure, we are with a small kitchen sight, just person under the stairs that tunes in to the first floor, which in turn, it separates it with a small pork butcher’s shop area.

The pavements are changing as we are advancing for the place, and are in its beginning a marble that finishes where it begins the small kitchen, which possesses a hydraulic pavement with certain touches vintage; once come to this point, the pavements transform in pine wood.

It is here when the visitor without realizing has come to the wide dining room, with smelting props, walls of work seen and designed with the intention of penetrating to another ambience conceived like an ancient factory, like a loft New-York, with windows, alternating transparences and opaqueness and with the kitchen glazed like backdrop.

A few big lamps of chandelier, also designed by our study, dress the smelting props to add stateliness in a clearly industrial ambience.

Just opposite to the kitchen we observe the whole wall replete with crystal shelves dressing the bricks of this one.

The circular couches of this room, upholstered with leather of color burdeos, offer dynamism to the space.

If we decide to raise for the big stairs that it separates bar and dining room, we meet big shelves of product, which accompanies us in this trajectory where in a gradual way it is possible to discern the wooden bar with panels of the first plant (we enter BULLET, it possesses another name and another style). This space acquires another treatment, although also it is possible to eat, turns out to be a little more classic, almost doing a wink to the old cocktail bar of Barcelona; with wooden closets replete with liquors framing the windows that lead to a small patio; capitonnes couches, hydraulic pavements and of wood, there are the materials palette that we are in this area, along with an immense library of wood of pine, identical with its front of black color, and maintaining the natural color in the niches that shape its shelves.

In the same plant we find a little private room, a small but very cozy room, the walls of work turned out to be white are embraced by a few wooden lattices and illuminated; together with a central table for 16 persons illuminated by 8 hanging lamps to different heights; and a small furniture of service for the bartender.

All the facilities of the place are seen and painted in black, granting a clearly industrial character to the set of the place.

PROYECTO PULPERIA CAN LAMPAZAS

El recién inaugurado restaurante Can Lampazas, realizado por Carlos Martínez interiors, está ubicado en la planta baja de la calle Paralelo 159 de Barcelona, y evoca desde su inicio hasta el final, la grandeza de las pulperías gallegas creando una historia propia. El restaurante se divide en una entrada principal, un pequeño espacio de office y una sala grande; ésta con una cocina abierta donde disfrutar viendo a los chefs trabajar y con un grill con carnes y pulpos braseándose, todo ello son unos 380 m2. Las paredes con delgas de madera de pino evocan a las maderas de antaño y se combinan con unos pórticos retro-iluminados pintados de oro, con unos paneles deployeé que aportan una luz ambiente perfecta para este local. Junto a los pórticos observamos unas estanterías de madera de pino y estructura de hierro, que sustentan decoraciones como calderos de cobre iluminados, haciendo honor a la tierra del pulpo. Los pavimentos de la sala, se combinan con una alfombra de mosaicos hidráulicos y parquet rústico, como si el cliente estuviese inmerso en los recuerdos más próximos de cualquier casa de algún antepasado. (“la casa de la abuela”).El restaurante se divide en una entrada principal, un pequeño office y una sala grande; todo esto se yuxtapone con la grandeza y la elegancia del diseño de la zona de entrada y de espera, con paredes de piedra de pizarra gallega, estanterías de madera de pino y una barra de mármol blanco donde el chef hierve, corta, prepara y enplata el delicioso pulpo. Dicha barra está vestida con calderos de cobre empotrados en el frontal de la barra, haciendo un guiño a la idea que el sustento del local es el caldero y en este caso el pulpo. Las paredes enfrentadas a las barras están vestidas de una cristalera inglesa, que duplican el espacio, ya que éste es bastante estrecho, aportando amplitud y más ángulos de visión.

Si el cliente sigue avanzando sobre los pavimentos de hierro negro soldados, se topara con la barra principal. Una barra de mármol blanco país, y el contra-mostrador aplacado de tacos de madera de pino natural soportando estanterías de cristal de 5 metros lineales, abrazadas por dos neveras inmensas llenas de vinos gallegos refrigerados a su temperatura ideal.

Justo al lado de la barra principal se encuentra una de las mesas comunes y de espera; se trata de una mesa alta con taburetes enfrentada al office del local. Un office claramente casero, antiguo, retro; con armarios y puertas de cristal, con vasijas, cestillos, copas y cubiertos; paredes vestidas con cerámica antigua y un armario de casi 4 metros de altura de hierro y malla deployeé donde se guardan y almacenan todos los licores del restaurante.

La sala principal destaca por su gran altura, sus cuatro lucernarios aportan al restaurante una entrada de luz natural que siempre se agradece; donde todas las instalaciones vistas deben serpentear para salvar todos los obstáculos que durante el recorrido se va encontrando; aportando de esta forma un carácter industrial.

El mobiliario se integra perfectamente en el conjunto del local, jugando con tres tipos de sillas: mezclando la madera, el cuero y el hierro junto a sofás realizados a medida tapizados con una polipiel marrón desgastada pero muy elegante y adecuada.

En cuanto a la iluminación de la sala, destacan las lámparas colgantes del techo, también diseñadas por nuestro estudio; se trata de un arillo de hierro negro que recogen, 10 esferas de cristal trasparente, en la zona central de la sala; en su perímetro las mesas se iluminan con las típicas boquerías de cualquier paraje marino, aportando a la totalidad del restaurante ese aspecto hogareño que nuestro cliente deseaba.

PROJECT PULPERIA CAN LAMPAZAS

The newly inaugurated restaurant Can Lampazas, realized by Carlos Martínez interiors, is located in the first floor of the street Parallel 159 of Barcelona, and evokes from its beginning up to the end, the nobility of the Galician local stores creating a proper history.

The restaurant splits into a main entry, a small space of office and a big room; this one with an open kitchen where to enjoy seeing the chefs working and with a broiler with meats and octopuses cooking, all this there are approximately 380 m2. The walls with walls of pine wood evoke to the old wood and it get together with a few retro-illuminated porches identical with gold, with a few panels deployeé that contribute a light ambience perfect for this place. Along with the porches we observe a few wooden shelves of pine and structure of iron, which sustain decorations like illuminated copper boilers, doing honor to the ground of the octopus. The pavements of the room, they get together with a carpet of hydraulic mosaics and rustic parquet, as if the client was immersed in the most next memories of any house of some forefather. (“the house of the grandmother”). The restaurant splits into a main entry, a child office and a big room; all this juxtaposes with the nobility and the elegance of the design of the area of entry and of waiting, with stones walls of Galician slate, wooden shelves of pine and a bar of white marble where the chef boils, cuts, and prepares the delightful octopus. The above mentioned bar is dressed in boilers of copper fixed in the hood of the bar, doing a wink to the idea that the sustenance of the place is the boiler and in this case the octopus. The walls faced the bars are dressed in an English window, which they duplicate the space, since this one is quite narrow, contributing largeness and more angles of vision.

If the client keeps on advancing on the welded pavements of black iron, it will come across with the main bar. A bar of white marble, and the appeased counter-counter of wooden blocks of natural pine supporting crystal shelves of 5 linear meters, embraced by two immense iceboxes full of Galician wines refreshed to its ideal temperature.

Just next to the main bar there is one of the common tables and of waiting; one treats the office of the place as a high table with stools faced. A clearly home-loving, old office, retro; with closets and crystal doors, with vessels, small baskets, glasses and silverware; walls dressed in old ceramics and a closet of almost 4 meters high of iron and mesh deployeé where they keep and store all the liquors of the restaurant.

The main room stands out for its big height, its four skylights contribute to the restaurant an entry of natural light for that one is always grateful; where all the seen facilities must wind to save all the obstacles that during the trip one is finding; contributing thus an industrial character.

The furniture integrates perfectly into the set of the place, playing with three types of chairs: mixing the wood, the leather and the iron along with couches realized to measurement upholstered with a worn-out but very elegant and suitable brown imitation leather.

As for the lighting of the room, they emphasize the hanging lamps of the roof, also designed by our study; one treats 10 crystal spheres as an earring of black iron that they gather, clear, in the central area of the room; in its perimeter the tables are illuminated by the typical lamps of any marine place, contributing to the totality of the restaurant this home-loving aspect that our client was wishing.

PROYECTO CAFÉ DE L’ISARD

A parte de los trabajos de preparación inherentes en la propia restauración, se ha tenido que corregir y poner al día otras infraestructuras del edificio que habían quedado obsoletas al haber quedado confinadas por anteriores decoraciones y / o adecuaciones del edificio. Por lo tanto a medida que se ha desmontado la instalación se van poniendo al día otros componentes del edificio. Hay que pensar que es un hotel construido entre los años 40 y 50, puesto al día en los años 90. La preparación ha sido simultánea a la puesta al día de instalaciones del hotel y que han hecho falta para proceder por la implantación de la nueva cafetería. El intervalo de tiempo transcurrido para llevar a cabo todos los trabajos desde el inicio del proyecto ejecutivo hasta el final de la ejecución ha sido de ocho meses consecutivos. El hotel forma parte de la llamada “ARQUITECTURA EN GRANITO”, muy extendida en la época en Andorra. La construcción se convirtió probablemente entre 1940 y 1950. El nivel de imagen o estilo, que es lo que se quiere transmitir en la remodelación es el ambiente de país de montaña y nieve, sin caer en imágenes de antaño. Para adecuar el nuevo espacio de la cafetería ha sido necesario intervenir en otros espacios colindantes que le apoyan. Como los emplazamientos de los equipos de acondicionamiento de aire que también se han renovado, equipos de extracción de humos, instalaciones diversas necesarias para el buen funcionamiento de la cafetería, ya que esta muy equipada y con aparatos e instalaciones de calidad y modernidad . La cafetería dispone de una superficie de 194m2.

Esencialmente se ha primado el espacio dispuesto al público para obtener un ambiente donde el cliente se sienta cómodo y confortable, y se ha agrupado y compactado el espacio de servicio para obtener un eficaz proceso de elaboración tanto de los productos de bar como de la restauración. En la zona de entrada y en contacto con la calle se ha dispuesto de una tienda de productos de pastelería que se elaboran junto con una instalación adecuada. Los materiales utilizados son pocos pero bien escogidos. El pavimento consiste en una baldosa porcelánica, los muros se han revestido con piedra exigua en placas tipo pizarra. La envolvente es una estructura de tablones de madera de roble sujetos con una subestructura de tubos de acero conformados. El techo situado detrás de la envolvente se ha cubierto con un importante espesor de placas de lana de roca y protegidas por un techo continuo de placas de yeso laminado.

PROJECT CAFÉ DE L’ISARD

The Papatorio restaur Apart from the preparation work inherent in the restoration itself, other building infrastructures that had become obsolete had to be corrected and updated as they were confined by previous decorations and / or adaptations of the building.

Therefore, as the facility has been dismantled, other components of the building are being updated. You have to think that it is a hotel built between the 40s and 50s, updated in the 90s. The preparation has been simultaneous to the updating of the hotel facilities and that it was necessary to proceed with the implementation of the new coffee shop. The elapsed time interval to carry out all the works from the beginning of the executive project to the end of the execution has been eight consecutive months. The hotel is part of the so-called “GRANITE ARCHITECTURE”, very widespread at the time in Andorra. The construction was probably converted between 1940 and 1950. The level of image or style, which is what you want to convey in the remodeling, is the atmosphere of a mountain and snow country, without falling into images of yesteryear. To adapt the new space of the cafeteria it has been necessary to intervene in other adjacent spaces that support it. As the locations of the air conditioning equipment that have also been renovated, smoke extraction equipment, various facilities necessary for the proper functioning of the cafeteria, since it is very equipped and with quality and modern appliances and facilities. The cafeteria has a surface of 194m2.

Essentially, the space available to the public has been prioritized to obtain an environment where the client feels comfortable and comfortable, and the service space has been grouped and compacted to obtain an effective manufacturing process for both bar and restaurant

products. In the entrance area and in contact with the street, there is a pastry shop that is made together with a suitable installation. The materials used are few but well chosen. The pavement consists of a porcelain tile, the walls have been covered with meager stone in slate-type plates. The envelope is a structure of oak wood planks fastened with a substructure of shaped steel tubes. The roof behind the envelope has been covered with a significant thickness of rock wool slabs and protected by a continuous roof of laminated gypsum boards.

PROYECTO MARÍA PARRILLA

El restaurante María Parrilla se encuentra en la calle Doctor Ferran de Barcelona. Este proyecto se ha trabajado bajo un edificio de nueva construcción en el que las plantas superiores pertenecen a empresas y despachos.

El local está organizado en dos zonas diferenciadas por sus pavimentos; la primera justo en el acceso del mismo, donde el aire que respira es algo más casero, haciendo un guiño a las casas antiguas, pero de una forma totalmente industrial; la siguiente zona, el comedor anexo enfrentado a la cocina abierta, una zona en la que el comensal puede disfrutar de una gastronomía tradicional y casera frente a los fogones de la cocina vista. La particularidad del restaurante es que la mitad del perímetro del mismo se encuentra acristalado, dato importante, ya que es difícil controlar la luz natural. Las paredes interiores se han diseñado elaborando un estuco para poder lograr una obra vista inexistente en el edificio; paredes de ladrillo vestidas de estanterías de hierro negro a doble altura con puertas de rejilla, encerrando todo tipo de objetos de antaño, basculas, etc. La barra de bar, pretende ser la imagen antigua de una tradicional estación de tren, el zócalo de la misma, es una biga de madera que soporta todo un sobre de mármol blanco, y el frontal de esta barra es de madera con cuarterones y roblones. Hemos querido incorporar cromatismos que evoquen al usuario al fuego y brasas candentes, por ello la pared de la barra la vestimos con cerámica roja iluminada por led’s para conseguir dicha sensación. El pilar central está desmaterializado por la combinación de espejos y cerámica colocados alternativamente. En todo el perímetro interior del local realizamos un alero inclinado de espejo manchado y oxidado para ofrecer una sensación más industrial y antigua. La zona de la cocina, está tratada como bloques macizos de mármol blanco, tanto para el pase de cocina como para la entrega de sucio, separadas entre ellas por unas columnas que además utilizamos como estanterías funcionales, es decir, por la zona de la sala el camarero puede acceder a ellas para poder utilizar tanto cubertería o manteles, y por la zona interior de cocina, todos aquellos utensilios que necesite el chef para poder cocinar.

PROJECT MARÍA PARRILLA

The María Parrilla restaurant is located on Calle Doctor Ferran in Barcelona. This project has been worked under a new building in which the upper floors belong to companies and offices.

The place is organized in two zones differentiated by its pavements; the first one right in the access of the same, where the air that breathes is somewhat more homely, winking at the old houses, but in a totally industrial way; the next area, the adjoining dining room facing the open kitchen, an area where the diner can enjoy traditional and homemade cuisine in front of the open kitchen stove. The peculiarity of the restaurant is that half of the perimeter of the restaurant is glazed, an important fact, since it is difficult to control natural light. The interior walls have been designed making a stucco in order to achieve a non-existent visible work in the building; Brick walls dressed in double height black iron shelves with mesh doors, enclosing all kinds of objects of yesteryear, scales, etc. The bar counter, pretends to be the old image of a traditional train station, the base of it, is a wooden beam that supports an entire white marble envelope, and the front of this bar is made of wood with panels and robons . We wanted to incorporate chromatics that evoke the user to the fire and red hot embers, for this reason we dressed the wall of the bar with red ceramic illuminated by LED’s to achieve this sensation. The central pillar is dematerialized by the combination of mirrors and ceramic placed alternately. Throughout the interior perimeter of the premises we make a sloping eaves of stained and rusty mirror to offer a more industrial and older feeling. The kitchen area is treated as solid white marble blocks, both for the kitchen pass and for the delivery of dirty, separated by columns that we also use as functional shelves, that is, by the living area the waiter can access them to be able to use both cutlery or tablecloths, and through the interior kitchen area, all those utensils that the chef needs to be able to cook.

PROYECTO PAPATORIO

El restaurante Papatorio se encuentra en Santiago de Compostela, Galicia. Nuestra fuente de inspiración para realizar el proyecto ha sido, sin lugar a dudas, la estética de la ciudad, la vegetación, (tonos verdes), las fachadas de sus edificios, (Cristaleras de madera blancas para poder recibir la poca luz solar que poseen por el clima), y el local en sí que ya poseía todas las paredes de piedra; los cromatismos y los materiales utilizados buscan transmitir, sobre todo, el lugar donde se encuentra; Santiago de Compostela.

El local cuenta con una planta de unos 160 m2 destinados y repartidos en: barra de bar, cocina, dos salones a diferente altura y una barra de coktails y copas. En la entrada del local nos encontramos con la barra de bar que se prolonga y acompaña al cliente con una vitrina frigorífica expositora. Esta barra está concebida como un bloque de madera, con un frontal despiezado de cubos de roble natural (haciendo de éste bloque un elemento rústico y lugareño). Justo en frente, se encuentra un arrimadero vestido con cerámica biselada verde (al igual que la pared de las estanterías del office), y unos despieces en el pavimento de cerámica, madera y acero corten.

Adentrándonos en el local, nos recibe la zona de cocina, presentándose con un frontal de acero corten en la parte baja y de trabajo, y una celosía cerámica en la parte superior del grill retro iluminada, dando la sensación de que toda esa zona es la zona caliente, el hogar, el fuego, la brasa. Encerrada y unida entre sí por un cristal. Seguidamente y frente a la cocina, nos encontramos con una barra baja, donde el cliente si lo prefiere, puede degustar la gastronomía gallega y sus tapas, justo al lado del grill. El primer salón, y el más amplio, se encuentra al mismo nivel, que las zonas anteriores; es aquí donde se encuentra la barra de coktails, que además es el nexo que une un comedor con otro, teniendo una visual amplia, desde este punto, de los 2 comedores. Una barra majestuosa compuesta por dos materiales, cerámica a media altura y un sobre de madera de roble natural. En los comedores destacan las enormes cristaleras de hierro blanco y negro, sus techos de madera con diferentes pendientes, siempre para buscar la entrada solar al local. Unos techos y una cubierta de zinc diseñada también por nuestro despacho de arquitectura.

PROJECT PAPATORIO

The Papatorio restaurant is located in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia. Our source of inspiration to carry out the project has been, without a doubt, the aesthetics of the city, the vegetation, (green tones), the facades of its buildings, (White wooden windows to receive the little sunlight they have because of the weather), and the place itself that already had all the stone walls; the colors and materials used seek to transmit, above all, the place where it is located; Santiago de Compostela.

The premises have a floor of about 160 m2 destined and distributed in: bar counter, kitchen, two lounges at different heights and a cocktail and cocktail bar. At the entrance of the premises we find the bar counter that is prolonged and accompanies the client with a display refrigerator case. This bar is conceived as a wooden block, with an exploded front of natural oak cubes (making this block a rustic and local element). Right in front, there is an upstairs dressed in green beveled ceramics (like the wall of the office shelves), and a few cuts in the ceramic, wood and cut steel pavement.

Entering the premises, the kitchen area welcomes us, presenting itself with a corten steel front in the lower and working area, and a ceramic latticework on the upper part of the grill, which is back-lit, giving the feeling that the whole area is the hot zone, hearth, fire, barbecue.

Enclosed and linked together by a crystal. Next and in front of the kitchen, we find a low bar, where the client, if he prefers, can taste Galician gastronomy and its tapas, right next to the grill. The first room, and the largest, is on the same level as the previous areas; It is here where the cocktail bar is located, which is also the link that connects one dining room with another, having a wide view, from this point, of the 2 dining rooms. A majestic bar made of two materials, half-height ceramic and a natural oak wood envelope. In the dining rooms stand out the huge black and white iron windows, its wooden ceilings with different slopes, always to find the solar entrance to the premises.

PROYECTO CREP NOVA

El proyecto pizzería Crep Nova surge a consecuencia de un cambio de imagen de los locales ya conocidos en Barcelona.

El local que nos encontramos, es un local de tapas y menús sin diseño alguno.

Es entonces cuando la propia arquitectura del local nos dio la idea de cómo podíamos intervenir en nuestro proyecto.

La composición del local por su forma, nos obliga a colocar la barra de bar en una de las paredes ciegas del local; situando tras ella los espacios de cocina, y diseñando su pared anexa para situar los aseos.

Al entrar al local, nos encontramos con una sala amplia para poder distribuir las mesas de los comensales, una barra de madera lacada en negro y un frontal de delgas de madera pintadas en blanco, realizando unas curvas controladas transformando así el espacio en algo más orgánico; tras ella, se muestran estanterías de madera de roble repleta de botelleria, sostenidas por unos tubos de latón curvados acercándonos a una imagen de las clásicas y antiguas coctelerias del pasado siglo; y combinando con un carácter industrial otorgado por el hierro que componen el alero; un alero que también posee unas curvas organicas que durante su recorrido se encuentran con la pared de los servicios, formando así una pared biblioteca de botellas iluminada con tecnología LED, además de una enorme cristalera que ofrece al usuario la sensación de amplitud de la que esta zona carece.

Los pavimentos porcelánicos imitación madera denotan calidez, necesaria para un local con 2 cristaleras en la totalidad de su fachada tan amplias como las que posee.

Los techos son placas de heraclit fonoabsorbentes pintados en negro con raíles electrificados empotrados entre sus guías.

El mobiliario, es algo sencillo, nuestro cliente necesitaba rotar de forma rápida a su clientela y por ello ofrecimos la opción de colocar mesas y sillas resistentes y que aguantasen el trote que hoy por hoy el restaurante recibe.

PROJECT CREP NOVA

The Crep Nova pizzeria project arises as a result of a makeover of the already known premises in Barcelona.

The place we are, is a tapas and menu place without any design.

It is then when the local architecture itself gave us the idea of how ​​ we could intervene in our project.

The composition of the premises due to its shape, forces us to place the bar counter on one of the blind walls of the premises; placing the kitchen spaces behind it, and designing its adjoining wall to locate the toilets.

Upon entering the premises, we find a large room to distribute the tables of the diners, a black lacquered wooden bar and a front of white painted wooden delgas, making controlled curves, thus transforming the space into something more organic ; Behind it, there are oak wood shelves full of bottle racks, supported by curved brass tubes, bringing us closer to an image of the classic and old cocktail bars of the past century; and combining with an industrial character granted by the iron that make up the eaves; a canopy that also has organic curves that meet the service wall during its journey, thus forming a library wall of bottles illuminated with LED technology, in addition to a huge window that offers the user the feeling of spaciousness of which this zone lacks.

The imitation wood porcelain floor tiles denote warmth, necessary for a room with 2 windows in the entirety of its façade as wide as the ones it has.

The ceilings are black painted sound absorbing heraclit plates with electrified rails embedded between their guides.

The furniture is something simple, our client needed to rotate his clients quickly and that is why we offered the option of placing resistant tables and chairs that would withstand the jog that the restaurant receives today.

PROYECTO PETISCOS DO CARDEAL

Ir a Petiscos do Cardeal va a ser como ir a comer a casa de tu abuela. Pero a esa que aún mantiene en el pueblo y en la que cocina con leña y comes sobre la mesa camilla y en platos de cerámica. Y es que en el nuevo local se respira tradición y huele a platos de mercado cocinados a fuego lento, además de disfrutar de suculentos platillos y tapas.

Lo clásico y lo gallego también están presentes en su decoración. Como no podía ser de otra manera, con elementos decorativos como las emblemáticas jarras de vidrio, cerámicas antiguas recordando los años 60, o colecciones de diversos objetos recuperados que decoran todas las paredes junto a radios, gramófonos o cámaras de fotos antiguas.

Para lograrlo, el propio estudio de diseño visitó mercadillos y rastrillos en Galicia.

Por su parte, la luz –un elemento fundamental en el interiorismo del local–está sumamente cuidada. Natural, a través de los grandes ventanales, durante el día. Tenue y dorada durante la noche con Apliques vestidos con redes de pescador tejidas a mano por las propias tejedoras del mar.

El local que nos encontramos, es un local de tapas y menús con un diseño ya pasado de moda.

Es entonces cuando la propiedad nos explica el concepto que quiere obtener para el nuevo local, la casa de mi abuela, recordar aquellos olores de su infancia, la calidez de sus paredes, y el calor de los fogones.

La composición del local es simple, la barra de bar se reviste con piezas de gres porcelanico intercalado con madera de roble tintado e iluminada con un led bajo el sobre de ésta. Encima de ella, se colocó un alero suspendido del techo con serpentines para colgar jarras y copas con apliques de globos opales, que dan un aire retro al local en todo el lineal de la barra.

Al entrar al local, nos encontramos con una sala amplia para poder distribuir las mesas de los comensales, unas estanterías a derecha e izquierda repleta de decoraciones antiguas, acompañadas de un arrimadero revestido de la misma forma que la barra de bar, solo interrumpida por una chimenea retroiluminada que sirve de pequeño almacén.

Los pavimentos porcelánicos denotan calidez, y te transportan a los años 60.

Los techos en los inicios del local, se pensaron con papel con relieve y estucados con veladuras.

El mobiliario, es algo sencillo, nuestro cliente necesitaba rotar de forma rápida a su clientela y por ello ofrecimos la opción de colocar mesas y sillas resistentes y que aguantasen el trote que hoy por hoy el restaurante recibe.

PROJECT PETISCOS DO CARDEAL

Going to Petiscos do Cardeal is going to be like going to eat at your grandmother’s house. And it is that in the new place you breathe tradition and smell of slow-cooked market dishes, in addition to enjoying succulent dishes and tapas.

How could it be otherwise, with decorative elements such as the emblematic glass jugs, old ceramics reminiscent of the 60s, or collections of various recovered objects that decorate all the walls together with radios, gramophones or old photo cameras.

To achieve this, the design studio itself visited flea markets and rakes in Galicia.

For its part, light - a fundamental element in the interior design of the premises - is extremely well cared for. Natural, through the large windows, during the day. Dim and golden at night with Appliques dressed in fisherman’s nets hand-woven by the weavers of the sea.

The place we are, is a tapas and menu place with an old-fashioned design.

It is then when the property explains to us the concept that it wants to obtain for the new premises, my grandmother’s house, to remember those smells of her childhood, the warmth of its walls, and the heat of the stove.

The composition of the premises is simple, the bar counter is covered with pieces of porcelain stoneware interspersed with stained oak wood and illuminated with a led under the envelope. On top of it, an eave was suspended from the ceiling with coils to hang jugs and cups

with appliques of opaque balloons, which give a retro air to the premises throughout the entire bar.

Upon entering the premises, we find a spacious room to distribute the tables of the diners, some shelves on the right and left, full of old decorations, accompanied by an upholstery covered in the same way as the bar counter, only interrupted by a backlit fireplace that serves as a small warehouse.

Porcelain floor tiles denote warmth, and transport you back to the 60s.

PROYECTO CALA ROSSITA

Diseño de un restaurante moderno que ofrece un ambiente relajado, donde poder degustar los mejores arroces y pescados de Barcelona. El diseño propuesto intenta semejar el ambiente Mediterráneo dentro del espacio, cálido, suave, romántico. El resultado es un atemporal y moderno espacio que intenta difuminar el interior con la terraza exterior del centro comercial de Diagonal Mar. El objetivo del proyecto es el de hacer sentir al comensal que se encuentra en el interior de una escena totalmente marítima, sentarse en el restaurante tendría que ser como sentarse en el interior de un velero observando la puesta de sol.

La arquitectura del edificio nos hizo pensar inmediatamente en un navío. Un lugar donde los espejos se convierten en ventanas de camarotes, donde los pavimentos nos recuerdan a los de un barco antiguo y donde la iluminación cobra todo su sentido con lámparas al más puro estilo bergantín.

La materialidad de los elementos como el cobre de la campana extractora y el pilar central de la sala, al igual que el ambiente general del espacio, encuentra su inspiración en los clásicos y elegantes barcos.

La jardinera que separa las dos salas nos hizo pensar en los arrecifes mediterráneos, frescos, verdes y acogedores.

En la zona central de la sala principal nos encontramos con una zona diferenciada, cubierta con hiladas de cuerdas que sostienen por un lado al mueble de servicio principal y sujetas por el otro lado a unos pórticos de madera de roble que cubre tres sofás acotando de esta forma el espacio para hacer sentir más cómodo al comensal.

Las paredes cobran importancia cuando la iluminación se pone en marcha, por un lado toda una superficie de escamas con tonos marinos, y por otro, toda una pared estucada aplicando tela de gallinero; que recuerda las escamas de los monstruos marinos que en ella habitan.

Los baños nos invitan a viajar a través del Mediterráneo. Con tonos pastel, y listones de madera de color negro que bordean todo su perímetro, encuadrando de esta forma la zona de lavamanos, vestida con unos espejos adaptados a un gran aplique de forma circular.

PROJECT CALA ROSSITA

Design of a modern restaurant that offers a relaxed atmosphere, where you can taste the best rice and fish in Barcelona. The proposed design tries to resemble the Mediterranean atmosphere within the space, warm, soft, romantic. The result is a timeless and modern space that tries to blur the interior with the exterior terrace of the Diagonal Mar shopping center.

The objective of the project is to make the diner feel that he is inside a totally maritime scene, sitting in the restaurant should be like sitting inside a sailboat watching the sunset.

The architecture of the building immediately made us think of a ship. A place where mirrors become windows of cabins, where the pavements remind us of those of an old ship and where the lighting takes on its full meaning with lamps in the purest brig style.

The materiality of the elements such as the copper of the extractor hood and the central pillar of the room, as well as the general atmosphere of the space, finds its inspiration in the classic and elegant ships.

The planter that separates the two rooms made us think of the Mediterranean reefs, fresh, green and cozy.

In the central area of ​​the main room we find a different area, covered with rows of ropes that support the main service furniture on one side and on the other side are attached to oak wood porticoes that cover three sofas delimiting this It forms the space to make diners feel more comfortable.

The walls become important when the lighting is switched on, on the one hand a whole surface of scales with shades marine, and on the other, a whole stuccoed wall applying chicken coop fabric; reminiscent of the scales of the sea monsters that inhabit it.

The baths invite us to travel through the Mediterranean. With pastel shades, and black wood slats that line your entire perimeter, thus framing the sink area, dressed with mirrors adapted to a large circular-shaped wall light.

PROYECTO CAFE BIANCA

El proyecto CAFÉ BIANCA , un pequeño espacio situado en el nuevo Aeropuerto Mohammed V, en Casablanca.

Una cafetería donde el transeúnte aeropuertario puede hacer espera a sus vuelos, tomándose un café y pequeños bocadillos, así como pastas y dulces.

El local en sí posee una altura escasa, y las paredes que lo conforman no ayudan a realizar un proyecto ordenado.

De esta forma, nuestro proyecto surge con la necesidad de ordenar todo el producto que se quiere exponer, darle altura para hacer sentir al usuario confortable, y hacer de este espacio un local vistoso desde la distancia.

La composición de los techos nos ayudan a conformar de una forma ordenada, los espacios públicos y privados del local; Todo un alero de listones de madera de roble retroiluminada, recorren los perímetros remarcando las zonas de exposición de producto, haciendo así un espacio dinámico.

Vistiendo los techos centrales con un despiece de espejo, ofrecemos amplitud y altura en toda la zona publica del local, salvando de esta forma los problemas que nos ofrecia el proyecto en este aspecto.

En cuanto a la iluminación, todo el local está iluminado con tecnología Led, tanto en el alero retroiluminado del techo, como en todas las estanterías de producto situadas en las paredes.

Finalizando, el resultado final es el de un espacio dinámico gracias al movimiento de la madera, un espacio agradable por sus techos de espejo y un local vistoso e impactante gracias a la iluminación general del local.

PROJECT CAFE BIANCA

The CAFÉ BIANCA project, a small space located in the new Mohammed V Airport, in Casablanca.

A cafeteria where the airport passerby can wait for their flights, having coffee and small snacks, as well as pastries and sweets.

The place itself has a low height, and the walls that make it up do not help to carry out an orderly project.

In this way, our project arises with the need to order all the products that we want to expose, give it height to make the user feel comfortable, and make this space a beautiful place from a distance.

The composition of the ceilings help us to shape in an orderly manner, the public and private spaces of the premises; A whole eaves of slats of backlit oak wood, go around the perimeters highlighting the product display areas, thus making a dynamic space.

Dressing the central ceilings with a mirror exploded view, we offer width and height throughout the public area of the ​​ premises, thus saving the problems that the project offered us in this regard.

Regarding lighting, the entire premises are illuminated with Led technology, both in the backlit eaves of the ceiling, and in all the product shelves located on the walls.

Finally, the final result is that of a dynamic space thanks to the movement of the wood, a pleasant space for its mirrored ceilings and a striking and impressive room thanks to the general lighting of the room.

Casablanca (Marruecos), 2018

PROYECTO BRASSA RIA

El proyecto BRASSA RIA surge con la compra de un local totalmente vacío por los propietarios, son ellos quienes nos explican que quieren llevar a Casablanca (Marruecos), la costumbre catalana de la comida de tapas y platillos, queriendo ser los pioneros de esta gastronomía en dicho lugar.

El local nos lo encontramos totalmente vacío, con la estructura y las paredes totalmente desnudas, habiendo sido antes, una discoteca.

Es entonces cuando la propia arquitectura del local nos dio la idea de cómo podíamos intervenir en nuestro proyecto, siendo fieles a nuestra idea de querer transportar una imagen mediterránea con destellos de bistró francés.

La composición del local en 2 espacios diferenciados por su geometría, establece un claro condicionante a la hora de distribuir y priorizar los usos propuestos.

El restaurante se divide en 2 zonas conectadas entre sí, pero diferenciadas por su atmósfera creada por el propio uso de cada una de ellas.

Al entrar al local, nos encontramos una barra de tacos de madera de pino y sobre de madera de nogal vestidas en su trasbarra con unas altísimas estanterías de madera de nogal lateralmente iluminada con Leds, repleta de producto, ampliando su dimensión gracias a los espejos que la acompañan en todo su recorrido; formando un pórtico pasando por el techo y abrazando la zona frontal de la barra y sofás altos. De esta forma se corona combinando con un carácter industrial otorgado por el hierro y rejillas deployeé pintadas en blanco del alero botellero que se suspende del techo encima del sobre de la barra.

Al adentrarnos al recinto, nos encontramos con una pequeña cocina vista, compuesta por un grill donde se cocinan las brasas que se sirven en el local.

Los pavimentos van cambiando según vamos avanzando por el local, y nos encontramos en su inicio un pavimento de madera combinado con un pavimento hidráulico con ciertos toques vintage.

Es aquí cuando el visitante sin darse cuenta ha llegado al amplio comedor, paredes de obra vista y diseñado con la intención de adentrarnos a otra atmósfera concebida como una antigua fábrica, como un loft neoyorkino, con cristaleras inglesas, alternando transparencias y opacidad cristales armados y enormes estanterías de madera, conformando bibliotecas iluminadas.

Unas grandes lámparas de araña, también diseñadas por nuestro estudio, visten el comedor principal para sumar majestuosidad en un ambiente claramente industrial.

Los sofás circulares de esta sala, tapizados con piel de color azul marino, ofrecen dinamismo al espacio.

Si decidimos bajar por la gran escalera de caracol que conecta con los baños, nos sumergiremos en el más puro ambiente mediterráneo, fresco y luminoso. Los baños diseñados con azulejos destonificados con colores marinos, combinados con rejas metálicas pintadas en blanco, los apliques tubulares y la vegetación, hacen que los baños sea también un espacio para disfrutar visualmente.

PROJECT BRASSA RIA

The BRASSA RIA project arises with the purchase of a totally empty premises by the owners, it is they who explain to us that they want to bring to Casablanca (Morocco), the Catalan custom of tapas and small dishes, wanting to be the pioneers of this gastronomy in said place.

We found the premises completely empty, with the structure and walls completely bare, having previously been a disco.

It is then when the local architecture itself gave us the idea of how ​​ we could intervene in our project, being faithful to our idea of wanting ​​ to transport a Mediterranean image with flashes of a French bistro.

The restaurant is divided into 2 areas connected to each other, but differentiated by their atmosphere created by the use of each of them.

Upon entering the premises, we find a bar of pine wood blocks and a walnut wood top dressed in its back with very high shelves of walnut wood laterally illuminated with LEDs, full of product, expanding its dimension thanks to the mirrors that they accompany her throughout her journey; forming a portico passing through the ceiling and hugging the front area of the ​​ bar and high sofas. In this way it is crowned by combining with an industrial character given by the iron and white painted deployeÊ grilles of the bottle eaves that are suspended from the ceiling above the bar envelope.

Upon entering the premises, we find a small open kitchen, consisting of a grill where the coals that are served on the premises are cooked.

The pavements are changing as we go through the premises, and we found at the beginning a wooden pavement combined with a hydraulic pavement with certain vintage touches.

It is here when the visitor has inadvertently arrived at the spacious dining room, exposed walls and designed with the intention of entering another atmosphere conceived as an old factory, like a New York loft, with English windows, alternating transparencies and opacity, reinforced glass and huge wooden shelves, forming illuminated libraries.

Large chandeliers, also designed by our studio, dress the main dining room to add majesty in a clearly industrial environment.

The circular sofas in this room, upholstered in navy blue leather, offer dynamism to the space.

If we decide to go down the large spiral staircase that connects to the bathrooms, we will immerse ourselves in the purest Mediterranean environment, fresh and bright. Bathrooms designed with marine color detonation tiles, combined with white painted metal grills, tubular sconces and greenery, make the bathrooms also a space to enjoy visually.

PROYECTO LA FLAMA DE LA BOLERA

La Flama de la Bolera, restaurante situado en Sant Cugat del Vallés.

Con la idea de emocionar al comensal, se evoca la experiencia de transmitir la esencia y los valores de la marca a través del cuidado de los detalles en el interiorismo y que recuerdan las braserias, tanto en sus tonos como en sus texturas.

El restaurante se desarrolla en una planta con una configuración de espacios más bien reducidos, por lo que la prioridad ha sido ordenar y distribuir el local de forma funcional y confortable. La esencia del diseño se compone por sus techos, donde perimetralmente se colocaron unos espejos para dar profundidad en las zonas más agobiantes y aportando libertad y duplicidad a los elementos destacados como estanterías repletas de decoraciones que recuerdan a la marca del local.

Se recibe a los clientes a través de un pasillo de acceso con unas estanterías a doble cara (que se observan desde el exterior), y le acompaña también un pavimento imitación adoquín. Una vez en el interior la atmosfera que recibe el cliente es la de una brasería moderna con toques bistró, y el hilo conductor que aúna todos los elemento es el de diseño claramente industrial; pilares y paredes revestidas de obra vista, con enmarcados por pletinas de chapa de hierro en sus vértices, a la vez que abrazan a los garidones estratégicamente situados a lo largo del local. En las bocas de fachada, para hacerlas más vistosas desde el exterior, se decidió realizar en cada uno de sus laterales unas persianillas retro iluminadas, que aportan al local carácter y dinamismo, así como los sofás, diseñados con bridas de cuero para mostrar la separación idónea que debe ocupar a cada comensal. La barra de bar se encuentra al fondo del local, una barra de delgas de madera rústica con un telón de fondo a modo de cerámica rústica de color rojiza que recuerda los tonos del fuego y de la brasa candente.

En general, hablamos de una brasería con todas sus connotaciones que nos aporta la palabra pero traducida a los tiempos modernos en los que vivimos. El pavimento hidráulico central y las lámparas también diseñadas por nuestro estudio aportan al diseño global del local un toque romántico y tal vez bohemio. Finalmente, la vegetación del local en unas jaulas suspendidas del techo e integradas sobre los muebles de servicio del local, enfatiza esta naturalidad el espacio que se percibe en todo el local.

PROJECT LA FLAMA DE LA BOLERA

La Flama de la Bolera, restaurant located in Sant Cugat del Vallés.

With the idea of ​​thrilling the diner, the experience of transmitting the essence and values of ​​ the brand through the care of details in interior design and reminiscent of brasseries, both in its tones and textures, is evoked. The restaurant is developed on one floor with a configuration of rather small spaces, so the priority has been to order and distribute the premises in a functional and comfortable way. The essence of the design is made up of its ceilings, where mirrors were placed perimeter to give depth in the most oppressive areas and providing freedom and duplicity to the prominent elements such as shelves full of decorations that recall the local brand. Clients are welcomed through an access corridor with double-sided shelves (which can be seen from the outside), and an imitation cobblestone pavement also accompanies it. Once inside, the atmosphere that the customer receives is that of a modern brasserie with bistro touches, and the common thread that unites all the elements is that of a clearly industrial design; pillars and walls covered with exposed brickwork, framed by iron plate strips at their vertices, while also embracing the garidons strategically located throughout the premises. In the façade mouths, to make them more attractive from the outside, it was decided to make retro illuminated shutters on each of their sides, which give the place character and dynamism, as well as the sofas, designed with leather flanges to show the separation ideal that must occupy each diner. The bar counter is located at the back of the room, a rustic wooden slender bar with a reddish rustic ceramic backdrop reminiscent of the tones of fire and red-hot ember. In general, we speak of a brasserie with all its connotations that the word gives us but translated into the modern times in which we live. The central hydraulic flooring and lamps also designed by our studio give the overall design of the premises a romantic and perhaps bohemian touch. Finally, the vegetation of the premises in cages suspended from the ceiling and integrated over the service furniture of the premises, emphasizes this naturalness of the space that is perceived throughout the premises.

PROYECTO TABERNA DO BISPO

Ir a Petiscos do Cardeal va a ser como ir a comer a casa de tu abuela. Pero a esa que aún mantiene en el pueblo y en la que cocina con leña y comes sobre la mesa camilla y en platos de cerámica. Y es que en el nuevo local se respira tradición y huele a platos de mercado cocinados a fuego lento, además de disfrutar de suculentos platillos y tapas. Tras su experiencia durante 15 años en la cocina con brasas y tapas, Taberna do bispo ha apostado por un nuevo espacio especialmente pensado para su funcionamiento en el centro de Santiago, un restaurante especializado en tapas con un ambiente sofisticado, relajado y moderno, proyectado por Carlos Martínez Interiors. La propiedad ha querido potenciar la esencia de los detalles, la comodidad y un entorno acogedor en lugar del ambiente típicamente rústico de los locales de tapeo. Taberna do Bispo, no sólo sirve una amplia carta de carnes y tapas, también es un espacio polivalente que estará en funcionamiento desde los desayunos hasta la cena. Esta intención, unida al objetivo de transmitir el espíritu de la cocina de presencia, sus colores y texturas ha guiado el concepto del diseño del espacio transmitiéndose mediante la gama cromática, los materiales y las texturas del proyecto. Se han escogido tonos de madera naturales y mármoles blancos que recuerdan a las antiguas viviendas de nuestros ancestros, tonos apagados, pavimentos de madera en espiga, techos acústicos abrazados por bigas de madera de roble barnizada, que recuerdan los antiguos mesones lugareños. El resultado es una armoniosa combinación y un bello contraste entre ellos.

Para revestir la barra y los arrimaderos del local se ha optado por unos plafones de madera de roble natural fresados, denotando así la temporalidad en la que nos queríamos centrar, aportar en modo de homenaje todos los años que este local ha estado en funcionamiento, estas piezas logran transmitir la tradición, el ambiente casero y familiar además de carácter y distinción a todo el espacio. La iluminación es un punto importante del local, pretende ser agresiva en el acceso y zona de barra para ir disminuyendo progresivamente hasta el final del local, estanterías retro iluminadas, techos iluminados indirectamente, y apliques sobre paredes y sobre un ritmo de espejos enmarcados con alternaciones de vacíos y llenos. Con estos ingrediente el resultado está servido.

After its experience for 15 years in the kitchen with hot coals and tapas, Taberna do Bispo has opted for a new space specially designed for its operation in the center of Santiago, a restaurant specialized in tapas with a sophisticated, relaxed and modern atmosphere, designed by Carlos Martínez Interiors.

The property wanted to enhance the essence of details, comfort and a cozy environment instead of the typically rustic atmosphere of tapas bars. Taberna do Bispo, not only serves an extensive menu of meats and tapas, it is also a multipurpose space that will be operational from breakfast to dinner. This intention, together with the objective of transmitting the spirit of the kitchen of presence, its colors and textures, has guided the concept of the design of the space, transmitting itself through the color range, materials and textures of the project. Natural wood tones and white marbles have been chosen that are reminiscent of the ancient dwellings of our ancestors, muted tones, herringbone wood flooring, acoustic ceilings embraced by varnished oak wood beams, reminiscent of the old local inn. The result is a harmonious combination and a beautiful contrast between them. To cover the bar and the grooves of the premises, we have opted for milled natural oak wood ceiling lights, thus denoting the temporality in which we wanted to focus, contributing as a tribute to all the years that this premises has been in operation, these pieces manage to transmit tradition, home and family atmosphere as well as character and distinction throughout the space. Lighting is an important point of the premises, it aims to be aggressive in the access and bar area, gradually decreasing until the end of the premises, retro-illuminated shelves, indirectly illuminated ceilings, and wall and wall rhythms with alternating framed mirrors. empty and full.
