A 500 years trip By: Charlie Culebro A magical place where history happened, Teotihuacan, located in the outside of Mexico city, is an archeological place with pyramids and temples that were the house of the Teotihuacan culture in the early 1400-1520 witch all the people of those times developed great advances and studies like astronomy and math and they wore penachos and typical clothes one of the biggest civilizations in America, before the Spain conquer Mexico. On September 20th the students of Prepa TEC visited this wonderful ruins, in order to complement our learning of Mexican history, first of all we went the nearest pyramid which was really small and not interesting at all but far away we could see a gigantic pyramid with a lot of people in it, so we decided to go to the top, we walked a lot in order to be at the start of the stairs, we were exhausted when we reached the top but it totally worth it because we had an incredible view of all the ruins and to the houses that were outside, we took pictures and rest for a time on the top, then we got down of the pyramid and stay for a seconds down in the plaza, Then all the people who sell crafts and souvenirs start attacking us to bought their products so we bought some but they didn’t stopped trying to sell us things until we moved on to the other pyramid. Next, a new challenge get on the top of the second pyramid wich was a bit higher than the other one, it was really tired because we already were exhausted of the first pyramid but we could reached it at the end, when the trip ended we went to a typical restaurant to eat and to talk about the trip, finally we went back to Leon on bus after having a tired but funny and amazing adventure in Teotihuacan.
