Hip Hipster works in the salon of star hairdresser Brave Hair, where he specializes in extravagant beard styles. Penny Pincher ist der Leiter der in BeastsTown ansässigen Sparkasse. Er ist stets korrekt und wenn‘s ums Geld geht, hört bei ihm sowieso der Spaß auf. Er dreht jede Münze zweimal um und spart, was das Zeug hält. So hat er es zu einem beträchtlichen Vermögen gebracht und man munkelt, er habe auf den Beastchellen eine Hühnerfarm mit Blick aufs Meer.

Penny Pincher is the manager of the savings bank in BeastsTown. He‘s always trustworthy and when it comes to money, he‘s no fun at all. He turns over every coin twice and saves as much as he can. This has got him a considerable fortune and rumor has it that he has a chicken farm on the Beastchelles with a view of the sea.

Besser Wisser kennt jeder und man munkelt in BeastsTown, dass er wirklich alles weiß. Aber eigentlich stimmt das gar nicht, denn von manchen Dingen hat er leider überhaupt keine Ahnung. Aber das muss ja nicht jeder wissen. Denn, wie es immer so ist: Der Schein ist wichtiger als das Sein.

Everyone knows Besser Wisser is a Know-It-All, and rumor has it in BeastsTown that he really does know everything. Laura Laundry ist die Inhaberin des exklusiven Waschsalons in BeastsTown. Sie hat für jeden ein offenes Ohr und manch einer erzählt ihr seine tiefsten Geheimnisse. So weiß sie zum Beispiel auch, dass Metusa Leo eine heimliche Leidenschaft für Vanillekipferl hat und Fritten Fritze alle drei Wochen das Fitness-Studio wechselt. Bei ihr wird die Wäsche nicht nur rein, sondern blütenweiß. Selbstredend, dass Laura selbst immer eine weiße Weste hat - so sagt man jedenfalls.

Laura Laundry is the owner of the exclusive laundry service in BeastsTown. She has an open ear for everyone and some people tell her their deepest secrets. Spaziert man mit Charming Herman durch BeastsTown, muss man an jeder Ecke halten, um seine zahlreichen Freunde zu begrüßen. Er ist der bezauberndste Begleiter, den man sich nur wünschen kann. Er kuschelt mit dir auch durch Dick und Dünn und das am allerliebsten auf dem Sofa. Für ihn gibt es nichts Schöneres als es sich bei schlechtem Wetter gemütlich zu machen und Hundeserien auf BeastsFix zu schauen.

If you walk through BeastsTown with Charming Herman, you have to stop at every corner to say hello to his many friends. He is the most adorable companion you could wish for. He will cuddle with you through thick and thin, preferably on the sofa. There‘s nothing better for him than making himself comfortable in bad weather and watching dog TV on BeastsFix.

Wer Bloody Harrys Weg kreuzt, an dem beißt er sich fest und man kriegt ihn auch nicht mehr los. Aber will man das überhaupt? Denn eigentlich ist er richtig kuschelig und hat ein ganz weiches Herz. Zudem ist er ein wunderbarer Zuhörer – gerade während der blauen Stunde. Er braucht nur genügend Zuwendung, dann ist er handzahm.

He loves socks and chases after them everywhere and in all situations. It‘s his great passion, because socks smell so wonderfully like his favorite people. And what could be nicer than cuddling with them on the sofa and being cuddled after the big sock hunt?

Ihre besten Tage hat sie hinter sich … aber einst war sie der Star bei jedem Rodeo in ganz BeastsCounty. Keinem Cowboy gelang es, 8 Sek. im Sattel zu bleiben und ihr finaler Bocksprung war einfach so phänomenal, dass die RodeoPferde noch jahrelang davon erzählen werden. Doch jetzt will sie nur noch kuscheln und heimlich Pferderennen im TV anschauen.

She is not as good as she once was ... but she used to be the star of every rodeo in BeastsCounty. No cowboy made it to 8 seconds in the saddle and her final bucking jump was simply so phenomenal that the rodeo horses will be talking about it for years to come. But now she just wants to cuddle up and secretly watch horse racing on TV.

Reich, Single und versnobt ... so ist die Duchess in den Adelskreisen von BeastsTown bekannt. Leider gehört sie nur zum verarmten Adel und frönt ihr Dasein in einer Zweizimmer-Etagenwohnung im unnoblen Vorort Hampershire von BeastsTown. Natürlich ist die Duchess spitz wie Katz und wenn sich ein angegrauter Herr ihrem Revier nähert, ist sie die erste, die bei ihm auf der Matte bellt.

Rich, single and a snob ... that’s how the nobility of BeastsTown sees this duchess. Unfortunately, she’s only a member of the impoverished nobility and spends her time in a two-room flat in Hampershire, a less than noble suburb of BeastsTown. Naturally the duchess is as sharp as a tack and she’s the first to bark whenever any greying gentleman approaches her territory.

Lange verdingte er sich als Kinderanimateur in einem Fast Food-Lokal, was seinen Bauchumfang ebenso wachsen ließ wie seinen Appetit. Wenn du ihn für dich begeistern möchtest, dann mit einem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank, einem bequemen Katzenkorb und einer VIP-Kundenkarte für den Pizzaservice.

For a while he served as a children’s entertainer in a fast food restaurant, which caused his belly to grow as big as his appetite. If you want him to like you, you’ll need a wellstocked refrigerator, a comfy cat basket and a VIP card for your local pizza delivery service.

Auch Trudel Trude II. lebt zurückgezogen am Rande der Stadt. Sie gilt als Schöngeist und Liebhaberin von Literatur und Kunst. Sie hat selbst Gedichte unter ihrem Pseudonym „Speedy“ verfasst und es gehen Gerüchte um, dass sie nächstes Jahr für den großen Literaturpreis in BeastsTown nominiert wird. Es ist allerdings fraglich, ob sie es schafft, rechtzeitig am Verleihungsort zu sein; denn Entschleunigung nimmt sie wörtlich.

Trudel Trude II. also lives in seclusion on the outskirts of the city. She is considered a aesthete and a lover of literature and art. She has written poems herself under her pseudonym „Speedy“ and there are rumors that she will be nominated for the big literary award in BeastsTown next year. It‘s doubtful, however, whether she’ll make it to the award venue in time; after all, she takes deceleration literally.

KIEZ MONZ

Der Drummer der Band rund um Kiez Mauz, der durch stundenlange Jam Sessions mit Kiez Munz Berühmtheit erlangt hat. Auch wenn Kiez Monz lieber im Hintergrund bleibt, so ist er doch die kuschelige Seele der Band und gibt den Takt vor. Seine Fans umschwärmen ihn und ein Autogramm mit Pfotenabdruck ist heiß begehrt.

MUFFLON MUFF

Tief in den Alpen, auf einsamen Pfaden, ist dieser verwegene Geselle meist zu finden. Er ist, wie sein Name schon sagt, grundsätzlich muffig. Daher ist es gut, dass er sich als Extrembergsteiger meist fernab von jeglicher Zivilisation aufhält. Aber wer das Glück hat, ihn näher kennenzulernen, der bemerkt, dass unter seiner muffigen Schale ein ganz charmanter Kern ist.

Deep in the Alps, on lonely paths, this audacious fellow is usually found. He is, as his name suggests, basically muffy. So it‘s a good thing that, as an extreme mountaineer, he usually stays far away from any civilization. But if you are lucky enough to get to know him better, you will notice that under his musty shell there is quite a charming core.

CHIMP JUMP

Er ist der Inbegriff für schlechte Stimmung. Immer, wenn es etwas zu nörgeln gibt, ist er zur Stelle. In BeastsTown ist er allgemein bekannt als der schlechtest gelaunte Affe der ganzen Stadt. Aber wenn man ihn unter den Armen kitzelt, verwandelt er sich in den lustigsten Gesellen, den man je gesehen hat, lacht und springt vergnügt umher.

He is the epitome of a bad mood. Whenever there is something to nag about, he is always on hand. In BeastsTown he is well known as the worst-tempered monkey in town. But if you tickle him under his arms,he turns into the funniest fellow you have ever seen, laughs and jumps around happily.

Sein Style ist legendär und wenn er abends elegant durch die trüben Gewässer gleitet, dreht sich so manche Fischdame nach diesem sophisticated Beast um. Er weiß immer, wie man als Dandy richtig gestylt ist und vielleicht sei nur so viel gesagt: tiefe Wasser sind oftmals trüb.

His style is legendary, and when he glides elegantly through the murky waters in the evening, many a lady fish will turn around over this sophisticated beast. He always knows how to be really stylish as a Dandy, and maybe let‘s just say: deep waters are often murky.

Auch wenn sie eigentlich eine wilde Zockerin ist, so liebt sie doch ihr Image einer kleinen, verletzlichen und vor allem langweiligen Kuschelmaus. Aber wartet mal, wenn sie richtig loslegt

Wenn kleine Mädchen bei ihrem Anblick vor Freude kreischen, verzieht Uni Que leicht genervt das Gesicht. Klar: Fans gehören zum Leben eines Stars wie die Luft zum Atmen, doch ein bisschen Contenance kann man als Einhorn von Welt ja doch erwarten! Außerhalb des Rampenlichts aber ist Uni Que viel weniger kapriziös als gedacht – und wenn du ihr über die weiche Mähne streichelst, vergisst sie sogar, sich ständig in Szene zu setzen.

So schnell wie er scheinbar aus dem Nichts auftaucht, ist er auch schon wieder verschwunden. Doch wer ihn langfristig an sich binden kann, der hat einen Freund fürs Leben.

Die besten und größten Austern bekommt man von ihm kurz vor Sonnenaufgang und als besonderen Service knackt er sie mit einem Klick. Gerüchteweise beruht sein Vermögen auf dem Fund einer 20-Kilogramm-Perle in einer Auster, die er mit Hilfe von Underground Ulli an Deep Water Dandy vertickt hat.

KickKlick is the oyster king in the harbor of BeastsTown. He runs a large oyster trade there directly from the boat. You can get the best and biggest oysters from him just before sunrise and as a special service he cracks them with a click. It is rumored that his fortune is based on the discovery of a 20-kgpearl in an oyster, which he sold to Deep Water Dandy with the help of Underground Ulli.
