n Saturday, September 27, 2014 join Greater Orlando CARES Mentoring Movement as they present Jazz in the Hills. This history-making event will be hosted at Greater Orlando CARES on the Well of Hope Cornerstone’s 5.3 acre campus, 5230 Indian Hill Road, Orlando, FL 32808. Jazz in the Hills will provide our children the opportunity to display their love and talent for jazz, and expose many others to the rhythmic genre of this musical culture. The day will be filled with jazz artists and mentors who will conduct clinics and share jazz theory and education. The evening fundraising reception and concert will move indoors to Soiree’ Event & Conference Center for a special night of smooth jazz by national artist Najee. Soiree is located at 6394 Silverstar Rd, Orlando, FL. As a part of the Greater Orlando Cares team, organizers, of this local fundraising, educational, and entertaining event, we are encouraging everyone to attend Jazz in the Hills. Let’s use this platform to leverage a new vision for our community. Pine Hills, the area once known for its rich heritage, will once again become a safe, cultural and wholesome place to live, work and worship.
