Need help managing your electric bill? If you’re worried about making your next payment, call us. Don’t wait until you get a disconnect notice. Our customer service representatives can help you with payment arrangements and possibly avoid service disconnection. Spanish-speaking representatives are also available. Call us toll-free at 800-526-3348. You can also visit evergy.com/connections to find helpful information, like the following options that make bill payment easier and more convenient.

Budget Billing When you enroll, Budget Billing averages the last 12 bills, giving you a fixed monthly payment. Each month, your bill will remain the same amount, unless your electric usage is above or below 10% of the actual amount. In that case, budget readjusts to bring the yearly average to a more accurate monthly budgetary amount. Call 816-471-5275 or 888-471-5275 toll-free to see if you qualify.

Pay in Person Visit us at Evergy Connect (1710 Martin Luther King Blvd.) to pay Evergy bills or for in-person account support. Also, learn about energy-saving ideas, products and services for your home or business. Visit evergy.com/connect for hours and directions.

Short-term Payment Option If your account is past-due or about to become past-due, you may be eligible for a special arrangement that will allow you to pay the past-due amount over a period of time.

Cold Weather Program Customers with delinquent accounts can avoid disconnection from November 1 through March 31 each year. Note: It’s important to remain current in this program. If you’re removed from it due to non-payment, your first bill after leaving the program will include your deferred account balance, resulting in a larger bill.
