Welcome to Polly Place!

On behalf of myself and the resident Manager of this property, I wish to take this opportunity to welcome you and yours and wish you a ver y warm, relaxing stay at our property.

Polly Place is centrally and strategically located right between Thika town and Nairobi City and only about 20 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Please feel welcome and at home and if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, let us know.

CHECK IN

CheckInTime:3:00PM

Check in time is 3pm local time in Nairobi. However, if you arrive earlier and need to bring in your luggage earlier, let us know and we will make arrangements for you.

CHECK OUT

CheckOutTime:11:00AM

Check out time is 11am. However, if your flight is late at night and you need more time, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check out time so that we plan for that. This is important for us so that we don't inconvenience the next guest as well.

HOUSE RULES

NOSMOKING

Strictly no smoking is allowed inside the house. Smoking is allowed outside in the porch or in the patio. Violators will be charged a $150 cleaning fee for any cigarette butts found inside the house.

PETS

Dogs and cats are allowed for a $50 fee per pet. No fee for service animals and no fee for birds as well. Reptile pets such as snakes or lizards are highly discouraged. Please notify us if you will be bringing in any reptile pets.

REGISTEREDGUESTS

Guests upto 6 are allowed with no need to register extra guests. If you will have more than 6 guests staying in the house, please let us know.

OCCUPANCY

Guests exceeding 10 will put a strain on the capacity of the house and the established resources. Please notify of if at any moment in time you plan to host more than 10 people, even if they are not sleeping in the house.

PARTIES

Please respect your neighbors by not hosting parties late at night. Loud noise or music after 10pm is highly discouraged and neighbours may easily call the police on you if loud music or noise persists.

AMENITIES

AIRCONDITIONER

We plan to have heating and cooling installed in the house in future but as of now, this amenity is not present.

WASHERANDDRYER

There is a washer on the top level floor of this house. There are drying lines there as well. We don't have a dryer as the sun is abundant in the tropics and it's the best dyer and disinfectant.

DISHWASHER

The kitchen sink is ideal for washing dishes. In the near future we will install a dish washer.

TELEVISIONANDPLAYSTATION

For your pleasure and entertainment, there is a 46" smart television in the living room. The master bedroom is also equipped with a tv.

UBER/LYFT/TAXI

Uber service is readily available in the area. You just go to your mobile app for Uber and you can place orders anytime. For a taxi, please check local listings online.

BUS

This estate is not served by public transportation. Uber is therefore the best mode of transportation if you don't have your own means of getting around. If you need help with taxi/uber, let us know and we will make arrangements for you.

BIKERENTAL

If you need to rent a bike for leisure while here, let us know.

AIRPORT

The airport is 40 minutes away. We can make arrangements for you to be picked up or dropped off.
