The College of Education’s work focuses on closing the opportunity gap. The College’s impact is notable given the fact that we credential the largest number of teachers of any public institution in the state of California and have the largest Ed.D. program in the CSU system.

Emma Holmes Fellowship The Emma E. Holmes Faculty Fellowship provides a mechanism for renewing faculty engagement in the field, by supporting a 3-unit course release that enables tenured professors to spend time working side-by-side with educators in local p-12 schools, community colleges, or other community agencies.
