BMW India will launch the first all-electric Mini Cooper SE in India on February 24. This will be the second electric car in India from BMW after the recently launched iX electric SUV. The BMW iX price in India is Rs 1.15 crore, which makes it out of reach of most people, but the response has been overwhelming for the German company. The company has said in a statement that they will be launching more electric BMW cars in India in the future but this new Mini will be for a niche group of buyers. For those of you wanting to buy one, there is bad news that only 30 models of this electric SE will be sold in India and all of them have been booked already. This goes onto show that people in India are gradually opting for luxury electric cars and the market will continue to grow in the future.
