Gran Patio de Luz

The proposal tries to produce a new space that would dialogue with the natural sorroundings of the basque coast.

The general aim of the museum is to have a didactic approach for the audience, regarding the geographical phenomenom of the “Flish“.

By locating the general spaces in the basement, a big impact on the landscape is avoided. Only the workshops and the labs are located in the peace that has a more considerable elevation.

The U-glass as the main material in the façades also gives the building the proper expression and illumination condition, and the structure reinforces the rythm of the route.
