Dutchtown honors achievement

On March 31, Dutchtown Primary School named its March Soaring Students of the Month. A student was chosen at each grade level who showed exemplary behavior all around campus, was kind to others and respectful to teachers and staff. A native and lifelong resident of Pierre Part, Edith Mabile Boudreaux, 79, passed away peacefully in her home on April 5, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Milton Moise Boudreaux; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Boudreaux Theriot and Gordon, Kathy Boudreaux Gaudet and Carl; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny Boudreaux and Tammy, Mark Boudreaux and Lena; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian Cavalier and Sidney, Mary Acosta and Jerome; and brother, Phillip Mabile. Services were with Ourso Funeral Home of Pierre Part.

Templet, Roy John

On April 6, 2015 at the age of 81, Roy passed away. He was a lifelong resident of Donaldsonville. Roy served in the US Army and was a selfemployed federal mail carrier and the secretary treasurer for the National Star Route Mail Carrier Association for 13 years.
