Indian Mountain Lake says “thank you” to veterans by Lori R. Cooper As a way to show appreciation for its veterans, Indian Mountain Lake Community Association held a luncheon on November 11, free to all veterans in the community. Spouses received a discounted rate. The Social Committee decorated the room and prepared the food. On the menu were cream of broccoli and chicken noodle soup, meatballs, tortellini and shepherd’s pie. For dessert there were beautifully decorated patriotic cookies and mini eclairs. Social Committee member Pat Wagner prepared a playlist of patriotic songs, including the iconic “Taps” and “Revelry.” Pat Garguilo read several poems including the touching “1,000 Men Are Walking,”
