Frances Ann Nicastro

Frances Ann (Lezoli)
Nicastro, 90, of Long Pond passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lezoli and Ruth Smith. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Rosario Nicastro.
Frances worked in the banking industry for many years. She was an active volunteer with the Monroe County Senior Center. She was a member at Most Holy Trinity Parish of Cresco. Above all, Frances loved animals and enjoyed ice cream and soda with her loved ones.
Frances will be lovingly remembered by her son, Vincent Nicastro; daughters, Jean Nicastro, Maria Nicastro, Ann Nicastro and Rose Protheroe and her husband John; grandchildren, Preston
Protheroe and Olivia Protheroe; and her nephew, John Peragine and his wife Mary. Frances is preceded in death by her sister, Jean Peragine.
Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, was in charge of arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place April 29, in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cresco. Interment followed at Laurelwood Cemetery.
