Postpartum Wellness offers support to women experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression/anxiety. For children 4 years old or younger who do not have a dentist for regular prevention care. The goal of the program is to help prevent early childhood tooth decay in young children. Clinics are held weekly at the Abbotsford Health Unit. Parents or legal guardian must attend with the child. Please call the Abbotsford Health Unit for more information and ask for the Dental Program at 604-864-3400. The Open Door is an organization supporting single moms of preschoolers. We offer a variety of activities for the moms and their children at no charge. These include speakers, crafts, outings, and games. After a full course lunch, we have an optional Bible study. For Preschools & Licensed Daycares, this is a FREE Fire Safety Education Kit for teaching impressionable 3 – 5 year olds about fire safety. Through the use of a video, a fire fighter is brought into the preschool to teach young children the basics of fire prevention and how to respond to specific fire situations. The FORCE’s mission is to promote and influence change in intervention and equality of care in children’s mental health.
