rive down Cleveland Avenue through the heart of Canton, Ohio, on the night before The Canton Repository Grand Parade, and you’ll find a most unusual sight – over two miles of roped-off camping chairs, pop-up tents, and hundreds - if not thousands - of spectators already camped out, guarding their spots along the route in anticipation of the 8:00 am step-off.
The parade, which is a cherished tradition going all the way back to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival’s inception in 1963, draws about 200,000 people each year, making it the 5th largest parade in the country as well as Canton’s largest free event. Imagine the delight of huge helium balloons, marching bands, colorful floats, world-renowned dance troupes, and outrageously costumed football fans.
Then, of course, there are the stars of the show – the current class of Enshrinees and their families, as well as dozens of returning Hall of Famers. Parade-goers, many of whom sport the fan attire of their favorite teams, enthusiastically welcome these football legends as they proceed down the 2.2-mile parade route.

Enshrinement Festival will work with the float builder to build the float to desired company design concept-meet as many times as needed before actual production of the float begins, including a design plan.
