This portal is a branded media kit for our Pegasus World Cup 2023 event. It streamlined our ability to share approved assets with media partners while keeping everything on-brand and visually exciting.

Company Description: Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is a nonprofit developer that creates and preserves affordable and mixed-income housing in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. AHC builds opportunity by creating quality homes with holistic resident services. We connect residents with onsite services that help transform lives, provide housing stability, and advance the economic resiliency of entire communities.

We rebranded last fall, and this style guide has been a great point of reference for our staff and external partners. As a nonprofit, we are mission-focused, so we included our new mission, vision, and values along with all of our new branding guidelines, making this guide a one-stop shop. The guide is user-friendly, including many tutorials and tips, and it’s cohesive with our branding.

We created our new brand with a trauma-informed lens, using colors that are pleasing and calming. This style guide showcases the spirit of welcome, opportunity, and renewal that our new branding seeks to create.

This extensive and thorough style guide is a marketer’s dream! Hannah and her team have covered every aspect of their branding with several menu options, ranging from the basics to guidelines for screen printing, logo spacing, fonts, templates, and more.

Their use of a GIF in the style guides is excellent and not something that the implementation team has seen leveraged.

This style guide truly sets the standard for our style guide users.

Company Description: Parents as Teachers is a voluntary early childhood development program offering research-based curricula that help families raise children to be healthy, safe, learning and ready for school.

Industry: Education

I really enjoy using Canto’s related files feature. As someone who works with curricula and parent handouts, it is beneficial to have different versions of the same asset, such as translations or visual versions, all in one location. This feature allows me and my team to easily access all versions of a parent handout without having to search for them. I also like how easy it is to link and unlink the related files. The process is not time-consuming and having the link icon in the upper left corner of the thumbnails is helpful.

This increase in efficiency has been extremely beneficial for the content and curricula team.

In a detailed video, Angelique clearly demonstrated how her organization uses Canto's Related Files feature to organize parent handouts.

Handouts often have different versions. With Related Files, if the team makes an edit to one handout, they know all the other versions need to be edited as well. No need to search within Canto; they’re all available in the preview panel.

Company Description: The City of Carlsbad is ideally situated in north San Diego County. A great climate with beautiful beaches and lagoons, and abundant natural open space combine with world-class resorts, family attractions, well-planned neighborhoods and a charming village atmosphere to create the ideal California experience.

Using the Portal, we have been able to make available to the public assets from our historical collection. This includes video and audio files that encompass the rich history of the city and provide our residents the ability to trace their own roots in Carlsbad.

Discover Newport

Company Description: Discover Newport is a nonprofit destination management organization dedicated to the promotion of the City of Newport and its eight surrounding townships as a premiere destination for business and leisure travel.

We designed our Discover Newport Media Portal to provide our clients with an easy and intuitive navigation of our images. We determined what the most popular image requests were and divided them into their respective categories. By curating 25 of our top photos, clients were able to easily see images that cover the highlights of our destination. We kept the number of images in each category to a minimum so as not to overwhelm our clients and make photo selection a bit faster and easier. The response has been positive and it makes image requests to our marketing department very efficient.
