Enchanted Engineering

One a upon a time our favorite storybook characters found themselves in a sticky situation, and we can help! Through STEAM and Engineering principles, we will build a house to save the 3 little pigs, design pulleys and levers to help Rapunzel, and much more! In this hands-on camp, campers will discover how they can save the world and create their very own enchanted ending.

Explore + Make + Share (Makerspace)

Campers will work collaboratively on STEM/STEAM activities. Students will use hands on manipulatives to create and build structures by utilizing science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The focus will be on using a mindset of creating something out of nothing, while exploring personal interests.

Flight School

Cost: $220

Learn the ins-and-outs and ups-and-downs of flight. From birds to bombers, campers explore physical properties of how things stay in the air. Hands-on projects give campers the challenge of making their own flying machines and experiencing the intricacies of flight. A field trip to a local aviation museum will provide contact with pilots and aircraft.

Intro to Robotics

Cost: $220

This camp teaches the true meaning of robotics and the basics of the robot world. Campers learn about artificial intelligence and how robots are being used in industries today. They will gain an understanding of robot mechanics, the different parts of a robot, and then design their own concept. A different robot will be built each day and Friday’s robot is theirs to keep!

Laser Cutting

Ages: 10-15 Cost: $336

Combining the power of light and the power of the computer, campers will learn how to design, cut, and engrave wood. This class will introduce campers to a 50watt laser cutter/engraver which they will use in combination with Adobe® Illustrator to create laser designs using text, images & cut lines. Each camper will come up with their own unique project with the help of the instructor and all creations go home. Materials cost included in camp fee.

What do you get when you combine the world of engineering with computer programming? Robotics! This camp will use the LEGO Education Spike Prime set to introduce campers to motors, sensors, and other robotics hardware that they will use to build & design autonomous robots. Campers will also learn the fundamentals of the Python Programming Language as they program each robot to navigate challenges and complete a variety of tasks.

A. Counselors and coaches have a break during each camp for snacks and drinks. Snacks and drinks may be sent with your child or purchased for 75 cents per item.

Sports Mania

Play Ball! In our Sports Mania camp, our all-star Master Builder campers will use LEGO® Bricks to create motorized athletes such as soccer players that shoot, hockey players that skate, gymnasts that tumble, and much more! Maker Mania 2023

Pinewood Derby – Build & Race

Love to build? Love cars, planes and things that move? Then this is the camp for you. Using kits, campers will build and decorate their own Pinewood Derby car! Campers will work as a team to assemble a digital track to race their cars on to compete with other campers. Campers may keep their cars at the end of the week.

Rockets, Planes, and Flying Things

Q. What about medications and first-aid care?

A. All medications are stored and dispensed by our on-site Registered Nurse, except EpiPens, which stay with the camper. A Registered Nurse and a certified Athletic Trainer will handle first-aid and medical needs during camp sessions.

Esports Experience Camp

Immerse yourself in the world of competitive gaming. This camp is designed for all skill levels. Make new friends and have a blast in a safe and supportive gaming community. Coaches will guide players through a variety of games, daily competitions, drills, and strategies in a fun and competitive environment (no experience necessary). Games include: Fortnite, Rocket League, Overwatch and Valorant.

Have a passion for video games? Want to know how it all began? If you said, “yes”, then this camp is for you! Campers will learn how video games got their start in the 1970s, and how they evolved through the 1980s and into the early 1990s. Lots of interactive hands-on play & learning, as well as, competing in a week long high-score competition with the most popular games. Let’s Play!

Strategy Board Games

Campers will be exposed to many genres of board games as they explore some of the modern classics from the "Golden Age" of board gaming: Catan®, Ticket to Ride®, Pandemic®, 7 Wonders® and more! Campers will sharpen their skills in resource management, decision making, teamwork and team building, logic, strategy, patience, critical and creative thinking. Campers will receive a game to take home.

Q. Do I have to pack a lunch for my child?
