Beyond the Bell Welcome!
Cannon School strives to provide quality after-school Beyond the Bell (BTB) programming: classes for our JrK through 12th grade students; private music lessons for our K through 12th grade students. We are excited to offer our BTB programs in the 2022-23 school year and hope your child(ren) will join us for another exciting year of enrichment offerings!
Programs FAQS Q: When and how can I sign up for BTB classes? A: You can sign up anytime during the sign-up period: November 7-18. Additionally, we accept late registrations before week 2 of a session, if the class has open spots. Please note that class fees will not be prorated. We encourage online registration as they have a date and time stamp on them which is useful for popular classes. Please see the link on the Beyond the Bell page at www.cannonschool.org or complete the registration form at the back of this booklet and return to the Enrichment Office. Q: What if I want to cancel or change a class in the middle of a session? A: If your child is unhappy with his/her choice or their schedule has changed, you may cancel a class after the first week. Once the student has attended the second class, we are unable to cancel billing and full payment is required. Please note that you will be billed for the one class attended at the per-class cost. Q: What are my payment options? A: You can pay by check, cash, money order, or have the full amount billed to your student account. Payments are due with your registration. Q. How many students are accepted in each BTB class? A. Each class has its own minimum and maximum number of students. Classes that do not reach the minimum number required will be canceled and no charges will be applied. Classes will close once the maximum number has been reached, so early registration is recommended.

Art Expressions NEW PROGRAM Offered by: Teresa Schmitt Do you have an inspiring young artist? If so, we have a great class for you! Students will join Mrs. Scmitt, Cannon teacher, create and draw with pencils99, watercolor, decoupage, acrylics on canvas, and wood using various techniques. All supplies included. Grades Day Time Cost 3-6 Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 $20/class; $140 total
Lego: Engineering Adventures Offered by: Bricks 4 Kidz Let’s build a city! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! Students will put their skills to work as they build city themed models using Lego® Bricks and our motorized, battery-operated LEGO builds. The sky is the limit! Grades Day Time Cost JrK – 4 Mondays 3:00 – 4:00 $16/class; $112 total Mini Makers NEW PROGRAM Offered by: Ellen Loflin This class will be hands-on fun designed to channel creativity and innovation. The projects are designed to inspire curiosity and imagination. We will create clothes inspired by animals, crazy clocks, wind cars, and more. Join us for afternoons of explosive excitement.
