In case you get an error message that your tree files are in“Read Only” When you copy three files to a disc and then copy them back to the “C: drive” on the computer, they will show up to be in “Read Only”.

You must change the attributes of the files and for it, you must have the “Administrator Rights”.

On Windows 7,8 or 10 set the brother’s Keeper 6 or Brother’s Keeper 7 software to run with administrator rights you must right-click the Brother’s Keeper icon and click on “Properties”, then “Compatibility”, then click on “Run as administrator”, then click on “OK”.

If it does still work out for you, do the right-click brother’s Keeper icon and click on“Properties”, and then“Security” and see if the permissions are set to “Allow”.

If you try to launch start brother’s Keeper 6 and get an error message “File not found: wbtrv32.dll”.

Make sure you have Administrator rights for your user account. If you are using Windows 7 or 8 or 10. If you still get the same error message, you can contact the support team for more help. Check for the security system on the computer and disable it on a need basis.

If Brother’s Keeper software has an error “it cannot find your default printer” This happens sometimes with computers with 64-bit versions of your Windows operating systems.

You can reboot the computer to fix this problem. If it does not work out, then go to Control Panel, and then click on Printers.

Select your printer and then set it as your default printer.

If Brother’s Keeper starts very slowly, it must be because of a software conflict with another program such as your anti-virus program.

You can disable the anti-virus program temporarily and then start BrotherKeeper. If it starts quickly, then add Brother’s Keeper to your anti-virus program.

Other programs that may slow down brother’s Keeper, a few of them are like Babylon.

While using the Brother’s Keeper, if your mouse cursor disappears then run the Intellipoint on your computer system and turn off the option to “Hide the cursor”.

When you try to edit information and get an “error number 339” about component “UniBox10.ocx” try to download the brother’s Keeper and install it again.

On Brother’s Keeper screen when you click on Edit, and nothing happens, do the full installation of the Brother’s Keeper program.

In case of an “ordinal” error while installing, click on File, then click on “General to Do Items”, click on “what is the error number?”

If you see ab“error 7 out of memory” then go to: C:\windows\system or system32 and check the size of the riched20.dll file.

If it is less than 424k then contact the support team to fix that problem.
