LEADERSHIP SOCIETY

In this bustling world, it’s tough to find time to stop, to think, to explore an idea to its very core. At Canisius, it’s required. Our academic approach is firmly rooted in Ignatian contemplation. Our students don’t just explore a variety of subjects; they think deeply about individual ideas. They are challenged to reflect, to think from new perspectives and discover new abilities. They affirm their beliefs and values. They work with purpose and prepare for fulfilling lives. So by the time they graduate, they have the knowledge, network, ethical grounding and curiosity to take on the opportunities that lie ahead. This type of educational experience – one that inspires students in the Jesuit tradition to become the people the world needs them to be – is not possible without key philanthropic partners. Fortunately, Canisius is able to rely on the generosity of an exceptionally committed group of supporters – the Leadership Society. Without the much needed financial assistance of our Leadership Society members, the college could not provide the tuition assistance, academic programs and student initiatives that support the Canisius mission. As a result, the Leadership Society provides something even greater – a Canisius education and the lifetime of opportunity that comes with it.

 GRATITUDE

Rebecca Papaj ‘14

“ I cannot thank the school and alumni enough for their generous gifts to help me afford Canisius. Last summer I went to a leadership conference in Texas with Deloitte and to one in Chicago with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Those experiences were amazing and set me up for my internship this summer.”

Jesse Fodero ‘13

Leadership Society members give students the opportunity to experience a Canisius education and to graduate with confidence in their ability to make a difference in the world. Learn more about the impact of Leadership Society gifts at canisius.edu/leadership.

“ Without the scholarship I received, I wouldn’t have been able to come to Canisius. It took the pressure off and allowed me to focus on my studies. I plan to go to medical school and become a physician.”
