This is the light blue route on the map.

Only one left turn, and one right turn. You will be walking : ) Take this route if walking is fine for you and if you’d rather stay away from Apgujeong traffic.

STEP 01 Take the Bundang Line (that is Mangpo bound) and get off at APGUJEONG RODEO STATION (압구정-로데오 역/ Read as ApgujeongRodeo Yeok) Take EXIT 2 (See map and start walking straight)

This is Galleria EAST. The sidewalk that you see here is where you will be walking.

You will pass the following buildings/ establishments: • Galleria EAST - A shopping mall that mostly has high fashion brands • Small street • Kia Motors or Kookmin Bank • Small street • SM Entertainment (Old building) - You won’t miss this because it has a huge sign in front lol. If you want to make a stop here, just turn left on the street marked on the map. The front entrance is rarely used, artists usually enter via the side entrance, and that is where fans usually wait.

• Since you are headed for the new building, continue walking past that and stay on the sidewalk.

KIA Motors / Kookmin Bank (Google Earth doesn’t show Kookmin, but it’s on Naver Maps. And of course, the Old SME Building is there. :D www.candy-sky.com

This is the small street just past the SME Building. Turn left if you want to take a look at the older building. Otherwise, just cross this and continue on the same sidewalk. *blue line telling you to keep walking on that sidewalk :D

02 After Sposabella and HESTNA CHESS building, turn left to the small street, and keep walking straight.

Walk straight until you reach the end of the small street. (This will be rather hilly, and you will know you’re nearing the end of the street as it slopes downwards.)

Sposabella is the gray building, and the one covered by trees in this picture is the building on the photo below.

Building past Sposabella has HESTNA CHESS and a restaurant. This street you see is the street you should TURN LEFT TO, from the sidewalk. :) Photos below will guide you through the small street until the next step : ) Note that the blue lines in the photo indicate the direction you need to keep walking towards.

Keep going down the street, we’re almost to the next step!

03 Now that you have reached the end of the street, turn right and keep on the side walk.

Again once you turn right, KEEP WALKING. : )

This is because this area is overlooking the Hangang / Han River :) You will pass the following buildings:

ALMOST THERE!!!

After crossing that last small street, rest, breathe properly, because you are close to SME. Last landmark for you is “RIVERSIDE RITZVIL”. (R1-STEP03 - 16) Once you see the brick red-tiled building that has “Riverside Ritzvil”, you’re on the block! Walk a bit more and turn right once you pass the brick red-tiled building.

Just beside that, you’ll see SM Entertainment’s parking lot out front and the new building :D

IMPORTANT REMINDERS Keep in mind that this is not the only route to the SME building.

Your last landmark, RIVERSIDE RITZVILLE.

The Bundang Line does not show on Google Maps, but it exists!

Jihacheol (Subway / Metro) Apps for iPhone or Android are available for download to help you with changing Subway stations and getting to your destination station/yeok. In this case, Apgujeong Rodeo Station.

This map has the least amount of turns / transfers needed to get to the SME building.

If you feel confused, or lost, it’s always good to ask for directions from a local. (Show the address of the building!)

Based on experience, you’re going to be doing A LOT of walking in Seoul.So make sure to CHECK THE WEATHER before heading out, you might need an umbrella or a jacket/ coat in case of rain~ It’s also best to bring water in case you get thirsty! ^^ Think: this is your adventure tiiime!
