The Recovery Library The library and reading room at the Recovery College is open to all. We hold a small but expanding collection of books, and each one has been recommended by someone as being of particular value to them. The library includes:  Autobiographies by famous people with mental health diagnoses  Classic Self Help and Personal Development books  Psychology books  Novels with a mental health theme  Books that are uplifting, inspiring and motivating  Books about specific mental health conditions  Books that give strategies to help you manage your life To become a member and borrow books you will need to fill in an application form and bring in proof of address and ID to get a card issued. We have E-resources on all the computers at the college and offer free internet access. If you want to listen to audio or video files please bring in headphones. You may scan pages from books and save them to your memory stick or email them to your home pc. (For personal use only due to copyright.) Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday for reference, and you may borrow books on Tuesday and Thursdays. You can only borrow one book at a time, and you may keep it for up to 3 weeks.
