CTP, Mixed Use Tower, 44 floors: Responsible for: Providing technical direction for development, design and systems integration, resolving technical problems, reviewing technical procedures, documentations and standard policies put in place on a regular basis, overseeing design progress against schedule and budget.

Reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation and reports. Closely coordinating with subcontractor’s supervision to finalize full set of their submissions as per project contract documents and specifications. Controlling and coordinating with all shop drawing, detail, technical and material submittals for consultant/client’s review & approval. Facilitating and resolving design and technical issues with consultant/client. Heading and managing of material selections with consultant/client. Writing all the required technical letters and queries against contract and authority approved documents. Coordination between the design and site execution with construction management team. Ensuring that Architectural tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with Quality Management System. Attending and technically directing all the progress and workshop meetings with the client/ consultant and subcontractors including Estidama meetings for sustainability within project’s related agenda.

MDP, 64 villas and 4 buildings: Responsible for: Coordination between the design office and the site work in collaboration with site engineers, leading the draftsmen for a high technical and aesthetical standard of asbuilt and shop drawings, reviewing the sub-contractor & supplier submissions as per project specifications and all contract documents, writing the required technical queries to the consultant. As the project development follows the UPC Estidama Pearl Community, Building and Villa Rating Systems (PCRS, PBRS and PVRS), it is strived to incorporate sustainability principles throughout the design of the project, as well.

Worked as the official commission member of series of Urban Regeneration projects in several cities of Turkey in collaboration with city municipalities, project developers, contractors and consultants in order to 1

lead and manage them in terms of social housing, recreational, cultural, touristic and industrial development within state regulations for safety, sustainability and municipal plans of development. Coordination of all drawings, feasibility charts of the projects and decision-making process regarding them, coordination meetings and the management of the whole urban transformation activity from the beginning to the end of the delivery of the houses to the stakeholders of the land are my key responsibilities.

Worked as the design manager of series of projects (housing, hospital, dormitory, commercial, administrative) including urban regeneration projects by coordinating a team of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and public bodies. Criticizing the design proposals and leading the design team, reviewing the submissions as per project specifications, tenant documents and approval of the submissions from preliminary stage to the as-built stage are my key responsibilities.

DESCRIPTION Construction of 67 Nos. high-end VVIP Villas and 4 Nos. Residential Towers (G+12F+R) over common podium/car park including external infrastructure consisting utilities services and soft and hard landscaping works. The project will have 2 Pearl rating of Estidama from Urban Planning Council of Abu Dhabi, UAE which is similar to Lead Gold sustainable building construction certificates.

Memorial for Health Workers Last Round, National Architecture and Urban Design Competition Team: Atelier 4*, 2021

Architectural Concept: National Competition by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality after an 18 years of gap to competitions, which was opened to obtain a memorial for the health workers who have lost their lives due to pandemic. Our proposal was eliminated in the very last circle (among the top 10 proposals of which the first 6 were awarded) The theme of the project was based on the values of the place which were rooting from Ankara as a Republican establishment and also the lost river Incesu which was passing by the middle of this project area, once upon a time. We connected the 2 iconic parks; Abdi Ipekci and Kurtulus parks in the center of Ankara with continuous green landscape and pedestrian path. In the memorial part, we used 2 leaning walls facing the hospital area just across them; showing our thankfulness and respect to the health workers. The water stamp in the middle reflects Incesu's trace. The memorial sculpture is in the form of a tree with abstraction of health workers on its trunk and branches showing the connection between the life and death and all the struggle of the workers inbetween. The program was also including the renovation of the market place, which we answered with a moving and wavy roof structure. We proposed this project as a multi-disciplinary team of 4 architects, a sculptor, a landscape architect and a city planner. *Atelier 4=Canay Batirbek Itez, Esin Komez, Berna Malkamak Kayacetin, Cihan Kayacetin Sculptor: Necmettin Yagci
