TRIP INSPECTION ESSENTIALS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Are you prepared to complete your journey safely and without problems? Before hitting the road, it's essential to conduct a thorough inspection to ensure everything is in proper working order. Remember: all company drivers are required to complete a full pre- and post-trip inspection.
Here are the bare minimums of what you need to check:
Vehicle
Brakes: Are they properly adjusted, securely connected, and in good working condition?
Lights: Are all required lights and reflectors functioning correctly?
Tires: Are they adequately inflated and have sufficient tread depth?
Driver
License: Is your driver’s license valid for the vehicle you ’ re operating?
Seatbelt: Are you using one as required?
Fitness for Duty: Are you physically and mentally prepared to drive?
Taking the time to perform these inspections can help prevent unexpected issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR GUT HEALTH
Your gut is home to trillions of microbes that play a big role in your overall health. A healthy gut can lower your risk of conditions like obesity, heart disease, and some cancers. What you eat directly affects your gut, and choosing the right foods can improve both your physical and mental well-being.
Eat Whole Plant Foods
Foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, lentils, and nuts are packed with fiber, which helps feed good gut bacteria. Whole grains, for example, support metabolism and immunity while reducing inflammation linked to chronic diseases. Eating a variety of plant-based foods can also help you feel full longer and keep your blood sugar stable. Many people don’t eat enough whole grains, so try swapping white bread, rice, or pasta for whole grain options.
Choose the Right Proteins
Plant-based proteins like beans, lentils, chickpeas, and nuts are great for gut health because they contain fiber and beneficial nutrients. Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines, are rich in omega-3s, which help reduce
Foods to Eat Less Of
It’s okay to have lean red meat occasionally, but try to avoid processed meats like bacon, sausage, and deli meats, as they contain compounds that may increase cancer risk. Also, limit high-fat dairy, as too much saturated fat can contribute to inflammation.
Try the Mediterranean Diet
This diet focuses on vegetables, fruits, beans, fish, nuts, and olive oil, all of which promote a healthy gut It’s also linked to better brain function, reduced inflammation, and overall improved health, especially as you age.

How to Protect Yourself from Job-Related Phishing Scams
Check before you act – If you receive an unexpected email about your job status, contact your manager or HR department directly to confirm its legitimacy
Check the sender’s email – Look closely for misspellings, strange characters, or unusual email addresses that don’t match official company emails.
Be cautious of urgent messages – Scammers try to make you panic so you’ll act quickly without thinking. Always pause and verify before clicking any links or downloading files
