Louis Elezeor Juneau In the early morning hours on May 22, 2016, after a protracted illness, our dear father and husband shed his mortal coil. On June 6, 1936, Louis Elezeor Juneau was born in Ponteix, a small town in southern Saskatchewan. He was the second youngest of six children. He had four brothers and one sister. A few years later in the 1940s, his family moved to Coleman, in southern Alberta, where they remained until the mid-1950s. After moving to northern Alberta, Louis’ family settled in Rocky Lane, near Fort Vermilion. A number of years later, Louis met Dawn Murphy and they were wed in 1967. Louis and Dawn moved to Peace River, Alberta and started a family. In the early 1970s, sons Barclay and Kyle were born. In 1977, the Juneau family moved south to Camrose, Alberta. Shortly after their arrival, a third son, Jared, was added to the family. For the next three-and-a-half decades, Louis was an agent for Greyhound Bus Lines and owner of Camrose Bus and Delivery Service Ltd. until his retirement in 2011. Louis is survived by his wife Dawn; sons Barclay, Kyle (Leanne) and Jared; granddaughters Ryley, Jessie and Shayla; as well as his brother Jacques (Gretta). He was predeceased by his parents Yvonne and Leonce; brotheres Fernand, Roland and Richard; and sister Therese. Our family would like to thank all of the facilities that our Dad called home during his illness. These included Extendicare (Viking, Alberta), Bethany’s Bashaw Meadows, Sunrise Village and especially the very nice caregivers at Bethany Meadows (Birch Cottage). We would also like to thank the excellent staff at St. Mary’s Hospital (Unit 2). For what was supposed to be a temporary stop, the five months that Dad stayed with you was made much easier by your kindness and great sense of humour. In addition, thank you to Cam and Burgar Funeral Home for helping our family through this challenging loss. Finally, our family would like to acknowledge all of the wellwishers and people who have made this difficult time a little easier. Please go to www.burgarfuneralhome.com and sign Dad’s guestbook. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a small donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice. Heartfelt thanks and blessings to you all, The Juneau family
