In loving memory of
Neil Hansen who passed away on December 8, 2011 “Heaven is For Real” “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” (Psalm 56:8) I cling to this Psalm because I’m God’s child, Whom He promised He’d never forsake. This year has been dreadful, the pain so immense I’d think I cannot survive, Yet the crying of tears brings such a release That I’m grateful I continue to thrive. “You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all of my ways.” (Psalm 139:3) You love me so much that it’s God whom I clutch To help me get through all these days. I have confidence and hope for in some future time, Of the blessing of my Neil’s embrace. I’ll see Barbie Doll, my brothers too, Ross and Darlene and Grace, Plus all the ones I’ve loved and I’ve lost, They’ll all be there for me, What a reunion that God has planned In heaven with my family. Neil, there isn’t a day that goes by without the wish that we were together. If it wasn’t for God, I know I couldn’t have made it. I love you to the moon and back. You will always be my Neinos and I will forever be your Shnooky. Merry Christmas, my love. – Denny
