is a fund-raiser made possible through exceptional cooperation by the Kodiaks hockey club. All proceeds are being directed to Camrose Women’s Shelter Society. The hope is that the general public, thanks to the efforts of these bold, self-confident “good-sports,” will be better able to relate to “walking a mile in the shoes” of those forced to rely on the local shelter in times of crisis. The participants shown above are some of the local, concerned citizens who will be walking around the Edgeworth Centre running track eight times on game night. Like all walkers, they are collecting pledges for their individual efforts. Donations of $20 or more will earn a tax receipt. Cheques should be made payable to Camrose Women’s Shelter Society.
