Quick to set up, ready in 30 seconds
Arriving late at night in the rain at the campsite is no longer a problem, because the hardside rooftop tent can be set up in just 30 seconds. No tools needed – almost effortless.
SETUP
1. Release the external latches, then push the lid upward using the handle.
2. Pull the thin rope to set up the left or right wall.
3. Attach the rope to the first rubber holder at the back.
4. Lead the rope underneath the tent and secure it with the carabiner.
5. Repeat the same process on the other side.
6. Fix the ladder to the ladder mount and lock the six quick-release fasteners inside the tent at the top of the left and right walls.
TAKEDOWN
1. Unlock the six quick-release fasteners inside the tent at the top of the left and right walls.
2. Release the bracket under the tent and remove the thin rope from the rubber holder.
3. Slowly guide the thin rope back to fold in the left or right wall.
4. Pull the front strap on the outside and the left strap on the inside simultaneously to fold down the tent.
5. Close the external latches.
Open the window in 1 to 3 stages, lifting it slowly.
To close, first open the window fully, then close it carefully.
Turn the locking hook to secure it.
Caution: Do not force the window open or shut –this may cause damage!

Made up of several layers, the DARK BARRACKS roof ensures a cool climate inside the tent even under the blazing summer sun.
The insulating roof with its special honeycomb air chambers prevents outside air from entering, keeping the interior temperature constant even on sunny or hot days.

Protects against cold in winter
The walls are also made of a special insulating material with honeycomb air chambers for a pleasant indoor climate. This keeps the tent a cozy retreat even during the cold winter months.
Heat storage effect
The special honeycomb-structured insulating material acts as a barrier between the outside air and the interior, reliably keeping the cold air out. Heat is stored inside the tent for a long time – even with minimal heating during the cold winter months.
Durable honeycomb floor
The honeycomb panel withstands heavy loads and provides maximum insulation and stability (maximum load: 300 kg). In addition, the floor is designed to prevent condensation.
Free from dampness
The greatest advantage of the hardside rooftop tent is its protection against dampness. Water cannot penetrate through the walls or the floor from the outside, preventing mold and odor from forming. And any water can easily be removed from the walls with a squeegee and a dry cloth.
Protection against the elements
The design takes into account protection against weather influences. This includes special ventilation systems that minimize condensation inside while ensuring good air circulation.

Comfortable sleeping area with moisture separation
The temperature difference between the inside and outside of the tent inevitably causes condensation on the tent walls. This moisture can lead to mold, dirt, and unpleasant odors – especially in tents with fabric walls – and significantly reduce comfort in the long run. In conventional rooftop tents, moisture seeps under the mattress, encouraging dampness and mold. In the DARK BARRACKS, it stays above thanks to the integrated mattress moisture barrier – ensuring a dry and hygienic sleeping environment.
Gutter system against moisture
For cleaning inside the tent, simply wipe with a standard cleaning agent. Condensation that collects in the „WET-FREE“ gutter can be easily removed with a dry cloth.
