Becauseoftheincrediblesupportwereceived, ProjectRemedywasagreatsuccess.Itwas beautifultoseeourentireCSGfamilycome together,fromourCEOdown,tohelpmeetaneed inourcommunity.
TherewasonethingourRemedyKitchenmissed, interactingwiththepeople,andseeingfaceson campus.

Fall is headed our way , which means so is the scarves , boots , and vests of fall fashion , pumpkin spice ( which I am aware that everyone isn ' t a fan of , I ' m on the fence myself , but we do have to acknowledge that it is a fall staple ) , and a unique set of produce items that can be used to create some delicious and nutritious meals . Here ' s just a few fruits and vegetables that will be in season this fall , their health benefits and few options for how to cook them !

Pears, peeled and sliced
3 Apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Preheatovento350degreesF.Sprayacastironskilletwithcooking spray.
Placepeeled,slicedpearsandapplesinalargebowl.Addvanilla, cinnamon,nutmeg,and¼teaspoonsalt;tosstocoat. Transferpearsandapplestothepreparedcastironskillet.
Inaseparatebowl,useafork(oryourfingers)tomixtogether butter,flour,oats,whitesugar,brownsugar,andsaltuntil completelycombined.Themixturewillbelumpy,whichisfine.
Spreadtoppingevenlyoverthepearsandapples.
Sprinklewithmorecinnamon,ifdesired.
Bakefor45minutes,oruntilthetopbecomesgoldenbrownand crispyandthepears andapplesaresoft.

Peeleggsbycrackingtheirfatbottomsonthe counter,thenremovetheshellundercool, runningwater.Placeacolanderunderneathto catchshellfragments.
Grabapan,eithernonstickorwell-seasonedcastiron andheatitovermediumheat.
Whiskyoureggsvigorouslywithsalt(ascant1/8tsp coarsesaltperlargeegg)untillightandfrothy. Addbuttertopan.Iuseatablespoonofbutterfor4 eggs.
Assoonasbuttermelts,re-whiskeggsandaddtothe pan.Scrapethebottomofthepanastheeggsbeginto cookandgently,frequentlymovethecurdsaroundthe pan.Beinggentleiskeyforlarge,fluffyscrambled eggs(stirlikecrazyifyouprefercustardy,smaller curds).
Removeeggsfrompanwhentheyappearabout90% cooked.Theyshouldstillbemoist,astheywill continuetofirmupwithresidualheatandcarry-over cooking.
Addasplash(1-2tbsp)ofmilkorcreamatthistime andgentlyfoldintostopcookingandaddcreaminess ifyoulike.
