ACTIVITY CATALOG As North America’s premier Christian sports and adventure camp, Camp Ozark welcomes boys and girls, ages 7-17, from 41 different states and 13 different countries each summer. While incomparable in many ways, one aspect of Camp Ozark that sets us apart is our extensive and amazing activities program.

At Camp Ozark, each camper creates their own unique, individualized morning activity schedule. In addition, all activity areas are available each afternoon, allowing campers the freedom to pick and choose from an astounding variety of activities each and every day!

CAMP COMBAT Two teams compete against each other in an ongoing series of daily competitions. Over the course of the week, you’ll play archery tag, capture the flag, and the popular Ozark-original sword fighting tag game called “battle.”

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

Our skeet, archery, and riflery ranges are affiliated with sponsoring organizations so that campers can earn nationally recognized achievement awards as they improve their skills.

FLY FISHING Campers ages 12 and older can learn the basic skills and techniques of fly fishing on the Ouachita River.

Receive small group instruction on riding techniques taught in one of our riding arenas. Learn how to care for and saddle a horse.

Boy Scouts have the opportunity to earn a merit badge while at camp! We offer the riflery, archery, fishing, and woodworking badges.

Learn how to operate, maneuver, and race an airborne drone as you compete against others to navigate through various obstacles.

Spend a morning canoeing the beautiful Ouachita River! If selected, Float Trip replaces one day of your regular morning activities.

Come hike the scenic trails of the Ouachita National Forest with us, including a stop at the Crystal Mines, Crawdad Creek, and more!

Work with your team in this fastpaced activity as you race against others and the clock to complete a series of unique tasks.

Spend some time learning how to skateboard or inline skate as you venture into the Camp Ozark Skate Park. If you already have skating experience, spend time learning new tricks on the half pipe, grind rail, or bank ramp.

Enjoy riding the trails in the Ouachita National Forest on our Specialized and Trek mountain bikes! In addition to honing your riding skills on a variety of trails, you will also learn basic bike maintenance in both our beginning and advanced classes.

Spend a morning playing one of the area’s scenic golf courses. Glenwood Country Club offers an opportunity to play 9 holes with a small group and instructor. Please bring your own clubs, equipment (balls, tees, etc.), and a collared shirt.

This new, innovative program is for serious middle and high school athletes who need to stay sharp for their sport while at camp. This class provides individualized, sport-specific workouts with highly qualified instructor specialists and individually tailored training regimens administered by personal trainers. High School Hopefuls is offered in the following sports: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.

Debut is for our youngest first-year campers who move through different activities as a group with friends and assigned counselors. You’ll experience the Ropes Course, the Waterfront, the Crafts Center, and much more.

BABYSITTER TRAINING Get certified in the American Red Cross Babysitter Training class as you learn to safely and responsibly care for children.

HUNTER SAFETY Learn all things hunting as you attempt to earn a hunter’s safety license from Arkansas Game and Fish.

SCUBA Scuba is a nationally certified Gold-Level PADI course taught by a licensed dive instructor.

Once completed, certification is valid for use anywhere in the world. Participate in the OPEN WATER (BEGINNING), ADVANCED, or SPECIALTY diver programs. The Camp Ozark scuba course includes all books, materials, pool time, transportation, and “check out dives.”
