Abstract
Oro represents a high-end men’s fragrance brand I conceived for my Design Theory & Practice class. The assignment required students to design and hand-craft packaging for our chosen brand. I designed and constructed 3 artifacts including a box, a bag and an authentication certificate for Oro.
Results
With the use of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, I was able to make a brand identity and packaging designs with an upscale look that would appeal to men with sophisticated taste. For this product, I created a digital design for the packaging, the bag it would come in, an authentication card, as well as a billboard advertising the product.

Abstract
Aperture Minizine is a small-sized magazine that I designed for my Editorial & Publication class. Students were required to create a fictitious concept for a magazine and design spreads, such as articles, interviews, and photography. I decided to make my “Minizine” about instant-film photography.
Results
Using Adobe InDesign primarily, as well as Illustrator, I was able to design a professional magazine brand identity that revolved around instant-film photos that appeal to the photography community, as well as the teen community who find this type of photography aesthetically pleasing. It consists of articles about new or up-coming photography trends, an interview with a photographer, as well as photos and advertisements.

Typography
Abstract
The typographic card deck project is a deck of cards that resemble playing cards, but the designs tell of different serif and sans-serif fonts, as well as patterns on the back and a brief history of each one. Having almost complete creative freedom, I made half of them not identical to the rest to create almost 2 decks of 12, and made the color pallets opposite of one another.
Results
To create this deck of cards, I used Adobe Illustrator for the patterns on the back, then brought it to Adobe InDesign for better print options. Being able to round the corners on each card, as well as creating a matching band to hold the cards together, also added to the professional steps taken to ensure this deck looked as sophisticated as possible.

Abstract
Designing this logo for Small Craft Café in Alaska was my first graphic design client for my career, so I feel it is important to showcase in my portfolio. I was tasked with creating a logo for a nautical-themed café, however the logo has to be versatile so this family-owned business can expand this logo into other businesses.
Results
Through research, communication with my client, and the use of Adobe Illustrator, I was able to create a nautical logo for this small café. The logo was created so the café aspect could easily be replaced with something else so this family business can grow and expand as they please.

“Privacy” Collection
Skills Photography Image Editing
Abstract
This collection of photos was taken for my Introduction to Photography class. This photo shoot had to have an underlying theme behind it, so I chose the theme of “Privacy.”
Results
I was very satisfied with this photo shoot and I feel like all of the images I took match well with the overall theme of “Privacy.” Most of these photos were set in ominous areas to set the mood and sincerity of this collection.

Abstract
The original project for this surreal world was for my Image Editing & Design class, and the goal was to use an assortment of images and manipulate them to make something imaginative and creative.
Results
I designed this project in Adobe Photoshop, and my overall idea for this project was to add photos of cool memories of mine. Once I found the images I wanted, I put them in each section of the power lines to create a “portal” effect for the viewers.
Thank you.
