Outcomes: the final components were designed to reflect the organization’s style, emphasizing values such as safety, professionalism and empathy. Using a palette of two base colors, along with geometric shapes and relevant imagery, the design was crafted to streamline therapist selection. The platform included an online scheduling service and a feature called ‘The Library’, which allows users to save reading articles
‘Psiconnect’ or ‘Psiconecta’, is an online psychological assistance and education service, requested the update of its website interface. The process began with creating user profiles, stories, and task scenarios based on organization input and research. Subsequently, wireframes and low-fidelity screens were used to prototype the site’s user journey.

THE PACTA PROJECT

The project aims to establish the essential security protocols for online therapy. This is achieved through a “digital pact” between the patient and therapist, allowing for flexible adjustments based on the specific needs that can emerge during psychological interventions.
Outcomes: a mobile platform prototype designed to articulate the project’s objectives and significance. It enables users to commit to the pact through electronic signatures, as legally binding precedents. The project also included logo design, website mapping, and UI work, blending design methodologies with feedback from key stakeholders.
Web development for ‘Method Organization’, a coaching service for companies in Latin America. The work involved coherent content distribution across the landing page and other key subpages. Outcomes: WIX website, animated graphics, text layout design, image editing.

PINUP WEBSITE
Pinup, an innovative Chilean company connecting influencers with entrepreneurs for advertising collaborations, asked for its website’s user interface and user experience to be re-designed in order to make them more intuitive and attractive for both companies and influencers.

In designing the platform, the role encompassed not only crafting wireframes, site maps, and high-fidelity prototypes with precision using Figma Software, but also entailed a broader spectrum of responsibilities. Collaborating closely with the development team and Pinup stakeholders, the design process was refined iteratively to meet evolving project requirements and expectations. These efforts were complemented by ongoing iterations to enhance usability and effectiveness as the project evolved. Subsequently, the designs were translated into a functional website through programming.

Outcomes: a well-rounded website, including user profiles for companies and influencers, interactive and comprehensive tables, data input and visualization, custom icons and images, among many other elements. All of these successfully translated the conceptual visions of the Pinup team into tangible, user-centric results.

COURAGE CARDS

Translated from ‘Cartas de Valentía’, this project serves as a psychoeducational tool imbued with a playful essence. It is designed to catalyze therapeutic processes, foster soul healing, and deepen understanding of emotional relationships.
These explorations are designed to unfold under the guidance of mental health specialists, who are adept at utilizing the collection of illustrated cards, leveraging their tactile quality and nostalgic charm to facilitate psychoeducational engagement.
Upon purchasing the cards, users unlock access to a web account. There they can obtain the cards in a digital format optimized for online therapy, alongside interactive and downloadable supplementary materials that enhance the engagement with the tool.
Outcomes: user guide booklet, portable packaging with internal dividers, sales website, and illustrated card deck. The proposal holds promise as a valuable contribution to therapeutic practices, as it serves as a straightforward, tangible, and approachable tool beneficial for both the specialists who apply it and the patients who engage with it.

Every composition was meticulously crafted to evoke emotional associations, drawing upon the principles outlined in Eva Heller’s ‘Psychology of Color’. The design process was further informed by two perception surveys and insights from experts in colour and psychology.

Design Methods for Public Services
RESEARCH: DESIGNING A RECYCLABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The project focused on improving local waste management in a rural region of Chile. Initial phases included thorough research, including literature review, interviews, and creating the service’s functionality blueprint. These efforts offered insights into existing management practices and identified areas for enhancement. Subsequent analysis, which involved comparative mapping and field research, further deepened the understanding of the challenges at hand.

Outcomes: practical tools like fillable tables and diagrams were developed to support local officials, with a focus on designing them flexibly to accommodate the community’s changing needs. A pilot program was implemented, scheduling sentinel trucks as mobile collection points to guide waste transfer and promote community involvement. Additionally, a comprehensive report was compiled, summarizing findings and offering guidance on tool utilization.
