What we do know is that whale brains are very similar to those of humans. Conducted experiments show that whales are capable of completing complex puzzles and solving problems. In addition, they strive to help each other within the pack and that their instincts are not only driven by their own survival, but that of the group.

The social structure of whales turns out to be very interesting, they are avid communicators and live together in groups known as pods or pods. They do almost everything together, including hunting and migrating. Group size can vary from just a few whales to close to 10.
