Camden’s Charter School Network is a 501 c3 non-profit organization with the mission to expand educational opportunity in Camden City through continuing the work started with Camden’s Promise, Camden Academy, Camden’s Pride, and KATZ Dalsey. The goal is to give all youth and their families in Camden an equal opportunity to achieve their greatest potential, to raise awareness of education policy, to expand resources from preschool to post-secondary experience, to build leadership, and support program capacity for the City of Camden.

1st graduating class walks at Camden Academy. The Promise Academy Center (PAC) officially opens.

Camden’s Pride Charter Elementary School is founded.

Academy’s 12th grade is moved to downtown campus and CCSN’s Swim Program begins.

KATZ Dalsey Academy Charter Elementary school becomes affiliated with the network.

KATZ Rosedale Building Construction Project.

All schools merged to Camden’s Promise.

Year round use through our school programs and summer school programs.
Elementary & Middle school students learn water safety & how to swim. High school students participate in the swim program as part of gym class.
Staff access to the pool for personal fitness.
1st cohort of College NOW students receive Associates Degree along with HS Diploma. Network Family Alumni Center opens at Katz Clubhouse and includes a second pool.

CCSN begins training student lifeguards.

The Camden Academy Swim Team started in 2018. In the 2022-2023 school year it had 19 swimmers and 3 managers.
Programs outside of swimming.
STEAM students test robotic submarines they create. Students learn kayak skills and safety.
Camden’s Charter School Network is committed to our mission and our promise to the community. CCSN will continue all ongoing pool costs including cleaning, repairs and bills related to keeping the pools operational, an annual average of $155,000. We promise that the money you pledge will help us:
